Lior Narkis
Lior Narkis ( he, ליאור נרקיס; born November 8, 1976 in Holon, Israel) is an Israeli singer. Biography Lior Narkis was born in Holon. His father, David Narkis, was of Iraqi-Jewish origin. His mother Hanna Narkis, was of Serbian-Jewish descent and also had Greek-Tunisian-Jewish ancestry. Narkis speaks Hebrew, Serbian and French. He is married to Sapir Vanunu, who is thirteen years his junior. They have two sons and a daughter, and live in Savyon. Music career Narkis dreamed of becoming a singer since childhood. He released his first album, ''Tfilat Chayay'' (''The Prayer of My Life'') at the age of 16. A few years later during his military service in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Narkis joined Tamir Tzur to form the first Mediterranean musical group. His sixth album, ''Rak Itakh'' (Only with You), which includes the hit "Lekhol Ekhad Yesh" (Everyone Has), placed Narkis at the center stage of Israeli music. Holon
Holon ( he, חוֹלוֹן ) is a city on the central coastal strip of Israel, south of Tel Aviv. Holon is part of the metropolitan Gush Dan area. In it had a population of . Holon has the second-largest industrial zone in Israel, after Haifa. Its jurisdiction is 19,200 dunams and its population is about 194,273 residents as of 2018 according to CBS data. Nadlik Beyakhad Ner (Light A Candle)
Israel participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2002 in Tallinn. Sarit Hadad represented Israel with the song "Light a Candle" (Hebrew: "Nadlik Beyakhad Ner"). Before Eurovision Internal selection On 26 November 2001, IBA announced that Sarit Hadad was selected by a special committee as the Israeli representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2002. Among artists considered by the selection committee, Gaia and Zehava Ben were highly considered before Hadad was ultimately selected. Among the members of the committee were Aviva Avidan, Yigal Hared, Izhar Cohen, Haim Uliel, Amos Oren, Nava Achiron, Tal Gordon and Avihu Medina. Four songs were submitted by Hadad, which were subsequently evaluated by the committee that selected the song on 24 December 2001.
