Gråkammen (station)
Gråkammen is a station on the Holmenkollen Line (Line 1) of the Oslo Metro. It is located between Gulleråsen (station), Gulleråsen and Slemdal (station), Slemdal. The station was opened on 31 May 1898 as part of the tramway to Besserud (station), Besserud. It derives its name from the surrounding hillocks (Gråkammen is Norwegian for ''Grey Ridge''). Vestre Aker
Vestre Aker (Western Aker) is a borough of the city of Oslo, Norway. It has a population of 50,157 as of 2020. The previous Aker Municipality was merged into the city of Oslo in 1948. The borough of Vestre Aker was organized as part of the 1 January 2004 reform. Previous boroughs Vinderen and Røa became part of the new borough of Vestre Aker. The borough of Vestre Aker does not correspond to Vestre Aker parish of the Church of Norway, that lies east of the borough. Holmenkollen Line
The Holmenkollen Line ( no, Holmenkollbanen) is an Oslo Metro line which runs between Majorstuen and Nordmarka in Oslo, Norway. Operating as Metro Line 1, it is the route with the fewest passengers and the only one still to have level crossings and short station platforms. The line runs mostly through residential areas of detached houses, and the upper parts of the line principally serve the recreational area of Nordmarka. Holmenkollen Station is located close to Holmenkollen National Arena which hosts international Nordic skiing tournaments. Voksenkollen Station is not far from Oslo Vinterpark (Winter) and the Oslo Sommerpark (Summer). Stortinget (station)
Stortinget is an underground rapid transit station on the Common Line of the Oslo Metro, Norway. It is located in the heart of the city center, next to the Parliament of Norway Building (Stortinget). The station is served by all of the five lines of the metro. At the street level, the station serves tram routes 11, 12, 13, 17, 18 and 19. Lines 11, 12 and 13 serves Øvre Slottsgate on the Vika Line while Lines 17, 18 and 19 stops at Tinghuset in the Ullevål Hageby Line. Also close to the station, there is a stop named Prof. Aschehougs gate that stops line FB5 to Oslo Airport, Gardermoen. Stortinget is 'kilometer marker zero' for the metro network and is owned by Sporveien T-banen. There has been a tram stop at Tinghuset since the opening of the Oslo Tramway, in 1875. Sporveien Oslo AS is a municipally owned public transport operator in Oslo, Norway. It operates the trackage and maintains the stock of the Oslo Metro and Oslo Tramway, as well as owning eight operating subsidiaries. In 2005, its 2,365 employees transported 160 million passengers 710 million kilometers, and since 2008 it has operated on contract with the public transport authority Ruter. Operation Sporveien is itself responsible for the rail infrastructure in Oslo. Oslo Metro
The Oslo Metro ( no, Oslo T-bane or or simply ) is the rapid transit system of Oslo, Norway, operated by Sporveien T-banen on contract from the transit authority Ruter. The network consists of five lines that all run through the city centre, with a total length of , serving 101 stations of which 17 are underground or indoors. Gulleråsen (station)
Gulleråsen is a station on the Holmenkollen Line (Line 1) of the Oslo Metro. It is between Vettakollen and Gråkammen. The station was opened on 31 May 1898 as part of the tramway to Besserud. Gulleråsen lies in a tight 80 m radius curve, and there was a snag when the line was upgraded to handle MX3000 trains. When the line was tested with the new stock, it was found that the gap between the inbound platform edge and train door was 54 cm, this is unacceptably wide for safety reasons. As a result, the station is only served by outbound trains. From 12 January 2011, a replacement bus between Gulleråsen and Slemdal 750 metres away was implemented following pressure from residents.
