Slemdal is a station on the Holmenkollen Line of the Oslo Metro. It is served by Line 1 from Frognerseteren to Helsfyr/ Bergkrystallen. Holmenkollen Line
The Holmenkollen Line ( no, Holmenkollbanen) is an Oslo Metro line which runs between Majorstuen and Nordmarka in Oslo, Norway. Operating as Metro Line 1, it is the route with the fewest passengers and the only one still to have level crossings and short station platforms. The line runs mostly through residential areas of detached houses, and the upper parts of the line principally serve the recreational area of Nordmarka. Holmenkollen Station is located close to Holmenkollen National Arena which hosts international Nordic skiing tournaments. Voksenkollen Station is not far from Oslo Vinterpark (Winter) and the Oslo Sommerpark (Summer). Stortinget (station)
Stortinget is an underground rapid transit station on the Common Line of the Oslo Metro, Norway. It is located in the heart of the city center, next to the Parliament of Norway Building (Stortinget). The station is served by all of the five lines of the metro. At the street level, the station serves tram routes 11, 12, 13, 17, 18 and 19. Lines 11, 12 and 13 serves Øvre Slottsgate on the Vika Line while Lines 17, 18 and 19 stops at Tinghuset in the Ullevål Hageby Line. Also close to the station, there is a stop named Prof. Aschehougs gate that stops line FB5 to Oslo Airport, Gardermoen. Stortinget is 'kilometer marker zero' for the metro network and is owned by Sporveien T-banen. There has been a tram stop at Tinghuset since the opening of the Oslo Tramway, in 1875. Sporveien Oslo AS is a municipally owned public transport operator in Oslo, Norway. It operates the trackage and maintains the stock of the Oslo Metro and Oslo Tramway, as well as owning eight operating subsidiaries. In 2005, its 2,365 employees transported 160 million passengers 710 million kilometers, and since 2008 it has operated on contract with the public transport authority Ruter. The Oslo Metro ( no, Oslo T-bane or or simply ) is the rapid transit system of Oslo, Norway, operated by Sporveien T-banen on contract from the transit authority Ruter. The network consists of five lines that all run through the city centre, with a total length of , serving 101 stations of which 17 are underground or indoors. Frognerseteren (station)
Frognerseteren is the end station of the Holmenkollen Line of the Oslo Metro, located in the Marka section of Oslo, the capital city of Norway. It the northernmost station in Oslo Metro, and is the station after Voksenkollen. The line to Frognerseteren was completed on 16 May 1916. The station has two platforms which, like other stations on the Holmenkollen Line, only accommodate two-car trains. The elevation of the station is above sea level, the highest of all the stations in Oslo. The elevation difference between this station and the lowest in Oslo Metro (Stortinget), , is the highest elevation difference within a metro network in the world. The area around Frognerseteren has very little population, but is popular for recreation, with a restaurant and hiking trails or, during the winter, skiing. Helsfyr () is a residential and industrial neighborhood in Oslo. It is located in Oslo's East End, in the administrative borough of Gamle Oslo. Bergkrystallen (station)
Bergkrystallen is the end station on the Lambertseter Line, after Munkelia (station), Munkelia, of the Oslo Metro. It is located in the Nordstrand, Norway, Nordstrand borough. Bergkrystallen is a road just north of the station. The area is mainly residential. Originally it was planned to extend the Lambertseter Line to Mortensrud (station), Mortensrud, but the Østensjø Line was extended instead. The station is served by Line 4. Bergkrystallen was opened as the end stop of the Lambertseter tram line in 1957, it was upgraded to a subway station in 1966. Although the subway system was formally opened by the king at Jernbanetorget (station), Jernbanetorget on 22 May 1966, the king and mayor travelled the line to Bergkrystallen where there was a ceremonial bouquet presentation in front of a large audience.
