Greenwell Matongo is a suburb in the city of Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia. Greenwell Matongo is named after a liberation fighter, Greenwell Simasiku Matongo, who was born in 1945. Windhoek (, , ) is the capital and largest city of Namibia. It is located in central Namibia in the Khomas Highland plateau area, at around above sea level, almost exactly at the country's geographical centre. Shebeens
A shebeen ( ga, síbín) was originally an illicit bar or club where excisable alcoholic beverages were sold without a licence. The term has spread far from its origins in Ireland, to Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Zimbabwe, the English-speaking Caribbean, Namibia, Malawi, and South Africa.
