Gaan Bangla ( bn, গান বাংলা; ), also known by the GB acronym, is a Bangladeshi Bengali-language music television channel owned by One More Zero Group. It was launched on 13 January 2013, and, at launch, was Bangladesh's second music oriented television channel after Channel 16 (Bangladeshi TV channel), Channel 16, but after its closure, Gaan Bangla became the country's sole music channel. The channel is based in Baridhara, Dhaka. Wind of Change Gaan Bangla is most famous for the ''Wind of Change (Bangladesh), Wind of Change'' series, which debuted in 2016. 1080i
1080i (also known as Full HD or BT.709) is a combination of frame resolution and scan type. 1080i is used in high-definition television (HDTV) and high-definition video. The number "1080" refers to the number of horizontal lines on the screen. The "i" is an abbreviation for "interlaced"; this indicates that only the even lines, then the odd lines of each frame (each image called a video field) are drawn alternately, so that only half the number of actual image frames are used to produce video. A related display resolution is 1080p, which also has 1080 lines of resolution; the "p" refers to progressive scan, which indicates that the lines of resolution for each frame are "drawn" on the screen in sequence. ''Wind of Change'' is a Bangladeshi music television series. It showcases a mix of local and international musicians performing together. It first premiered on Gaan Bangla during Eid al-Fitr in 2016. The series was created by Kaushik Hossain Taposh, who produces it with Farzana Munny. Pre-Season 1 Pre-Season One of Wind of Change aired on 7 July 2016. The event was the first of its kind with an extravagant music arrangement conducted by Music Director Kaushik Hossain Taposh and featured various known international and local Bangladeshi artists. Mass is an intrinsic property of a body. It was traditionally believed to be related to the quantity of matter in a physical body, until the discovery of the atom and particle physics. Around 45 privately owned television channels were permitted by the Government of Bangladesh as of 2019, of which thirty four are currently on air. Five television channels, namely CSB News, Channel 1, Diganta Television, Islamic TV, and Channel 16, have been taken off air. Bangla Tribune is a Bengali language news website of Bangladesh. It started its journey on 13 May 2014. It's edited by Zulfiqer Russell and published by Kazi Anis Ahmed. As of July 2021, its Alexa ranking was #16 in Bangladesh and #3,064 globally. History Bangla Tribune along with ''Dhaka Tribune'', a national English-language daily broadsheet of Bangladesh are owned by 2A Media Limited. Miles (band)
Miles is a Bangladeshi rock band formed in Dhaka in 1 August 1979. They have released ten studio albums and three compilations. They released their self titled debut studio album '' Miles'' in 1982, which contained English numbers. They released their second album ''A Step Farther'' in 1986. After four years, they released their third studio and first Bengali album ''Protisruti (Promise)'' in 1991. History The band formed in 1979 by Farid Rashid, Kamal Mainuddin, Larry Burnaby, Ishtiaq, Musa, Robin and Happy Akhand. Their first album, '' Miles'', was released in 1982, including five original songs and seven cover songs. Ayub Bachchu
Ayub Bachchu (; 16 August 1962 – 18 October 2018) was a Bangladeshi rock guitarist, composer, singer and songwriter, who was the founder of the Bangladeshi rock band LRB and earned success as the lead singer and the lead guitarist of the band. He is considered as one of the greatest singers of all time in Bangladesh. He was one of the pioneers of Bangladeshi pop music. The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) ( bn, বাংলাদেশ টেলিযোগাযোগ নিয়ন্ত্রণ কমিশন) is an independent commission founded under the Bangladesh Telecommunication Act, 2001 (Act # 18 of 2001). The BTRC is responsible for regulating all matters related to telecommunications (wire, cellular, satellite and cable) of Bangladesh. Baridhara ( bn, বারিধারা) is an upscale residential area in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is located on the east of and north east of Gulshan across Gulshan-Baridhara Lake.
