Grand World Scenic Park
Grand World Scenic Park () is a former amusement park located at Dongpu, Tianhe District at the outskirts of Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. Description The park covers a total area of 710,000 square metres. The total investment in the park is about 56.7 million yuan. The park features replicas of global landmarks. Closure A few years after opening, visitor number declined and the park got into financial trouble. As of 2017, the park is rented by a wedding photography business, with most of the attractions being in disrepair. Worker relations Since 2005 four fights have been reported by Guangzhou police between the amusement park and Yongshida workers. Tianhe District
Tianhe District () is one of the eleven districts of Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province. In Chinese, the name Tianhe literally means "a river in the sky/heavens", which is also a Chinese name for the Milky Way. It is bordered by Yuexiu District on the west, Baiyun District on the north and Huangpu District on the east. Haizhu District is on its south, though they are separated by the Pearl River. Tianhe became a district in the 1980s as the city expanded its size. Back then, it was east of Dongshan District (which was merged into Yuexiu in 2005) and retained a suburban or even rural atmosphere. A majority of colleges and universities in the city were located in the district. Window Of The World
Window of the World () is a theme park located in the western part of the city of Shenzhen in the People's Republic of China. It has about 130 reproductions of some of the most famous tourist attractions in the world squeezed into 48 hectares (118 acres). The 108 metre (354 ft) tall Eiffel Tower dominates the skyline and the sight of the Pyramids and the Taj Mahal all in proximity to each other are all part of the appeal of this theme park.
