Gorm Wisweh
Gorm Wisweh (born in Svaneke, Denmark) is a Danish TV-cook, author of cooking books and the founder of Gorm's Pizza. Background Gorm was born in Svaneke on Bornholm, his parents owned the local hotel. He started making pizzas for his friends when he was 11 or 12 years old. He moved to Copenhagen to study, but came back to Bornholm to make pizzas in his mother's cafe. It's was a success, people were driving far to get them. He got married in 2018 and has two children. Restaurants In 2008 he and five others opened the Italian restaurant ''Magstræde 16'' in Copenhagen with him as the head chef. Later the opened more restaurants. He also founded ''Gorm's Pizza'', and some Danish media have nicknamed him ''the Pizza King'' (Pizzakongen). Svaneke
Svaneke (''Swencke'' in 1410, from old Danish ''swan'' swan and ''*wīka'' inlet) is a small town on the eastern coast of the Baltic island of Bornholm, Denmark. It lies mainly in Svaneke parish and partly in Ibsker parish. It is Denmark's easternmost and until few years ago the smallest and now the second smallest (only Ærøskøbing is smaller) chartered town with a population of 1,079 as of 1 January 2022. Gorm's
Gorm's is a chain of pizza restaurants headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark. History Gorm's traces its history back to 2003 when Gorm Wisweh began to bake pizzas in his mother's café in Svaneke on the island of Bornholm. He later opened a pizzeria at Magstræde 16 in Copenhagen together with a group of friends. It was later followed by several other pizza restaurants in the city. The first Gorm's outside Copenhagen opened in Brandts Klædefabrik in Odense in May 2017. A 67 % share of the company was acquired by Orkla in 2018. The opening of eight new restaurants have later been announced. Bornholm
Bornholm () is a Danish island in the Baltic Sea, to the east of the rest of Denmark, south of Sweden, northeast of Germany and north of Poland. Strategically located, Bornholm has been fought over for centuries. It has usually been ruled by Denmark, but also by Sweden and by Lübeck. The ruin of Hammershus, at the northwestern tip of the island, is the largest medieval fortress in northern Europe, testament to the importance of its location. DR (), officially the Danish Broadcasting Corporation in English, is a Danish public-service radio and television broadcasting company. Founded in 1925 as a public-service organization, it is Denmark's oldest and largest electronic media enterprise. DR is a founding member of the European Broadcasting Union. ''Se og Hør'' (; "See and Hear") is a TV guide and celebrity journalism magazine published in three independent versions in Denmark, Norway and Sweden (where it is called ''Se & Hör'' ) by the Danish company Aller Media.
