Giny Vos
Regina Engelina Maria (Giny) Vos (born 30 October 1959) is a Dutch visual and conceptual artist. She has made almost thirty monumental works of art for public spaces. Life Vos graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam in 1988 and studied sculpture at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten from 1988 to 1990. In one of the earliest presentations of Dutch video art, Vos was represented in a 1990 exhibition entitled "Imago, fin de siècle" alongside artists Jeffrey Shaw, Lydia Schouten, Boris Gerrets, and Madelon Hooykaas among others. In 2004, she received the Witteveen+Bos Prize for Art+Technology for her oeuvre. Visual Arts
The visual arts are art forms such as painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, photography, video, filmmaking, design, crafts and architecture. Many artistic disciplines such as performing arts, conceptual art, and textile arts also involve aspects of visual arts as well as arts of other types. Also included within the visual arts are the applied arts such as industrial design, graphic design, fashion design, interior design and decorative art. Madelon Hooykaas
Else Madelon Hooykaas (born 28 September 1942, in Maartensdijk) is a Dutch video artist, photographer and film maker. She makes films, sculptures, audio-video installations and has published several books. Biography Madelon Hooykaas grew up in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Before leaving for Paris in 1964, she studied under various Dutch photographers. In 1966 she was awarded the Europhot Prize for young photographers, as the Netherlands representative, and she then left for England to work on the photo project ''Along the Pilgrim’s Way to Canterbury'', inspired by Geoffrey Chaucer’s ''The Canterbury Tales''. She remained in England as visiting student at the Ealing School of Art & Design in London. Leiden

Naturalis Biodiversity Center ( nl, Nederlands Centrum voor Biodiversiteit Naturalis) is a national museum of natural history and a research center on biodiversity in Leiden, Netherlands. Boris Gerrets
Boris Gerrets (1948–2020) was a Dutch film director, film writer and editor based in Berlin, Germany. He was born into a Bulgarian-German family in Amsterdam and was raised in The Netherlands, Spain, Sierra Leone and Germany. Gerrets is the recipient of the 2013 Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds for his contribution to the documentary genre. He was the 2014 Laureate of the Aster Award, a prize he received for ‘high achievements in European and world film art’. Conceptual art, also referred to as conceptualism, is art in which the concept(s) or idea(s) involved in the work take precedence over traditional aesthetic, technical, and material concerns. Some works of conceptual art, sometimes called installations, may be constructed by anyone simply by following a set of written instructions. Lydia Schouten
Lydia Schouten (born 1948, Leiden, Netherlands) is an internationally-known Dutch performance and video artist. Early in her career she critiqued traditional women's roles and the portrayal of women as sex objects. More recently, her work considers themes of loneliness, sex and violence. As of 2004, she lives in Amsterdam. Her work has been exhibited internationally and she has held artist in residencies in several countries. Schouten received the Maaskant Award from city of Rotterdam in 1975.
