Gare De Rennes
Rennes station ( French: ''Gare de Rennes'') is situated in the town centre of Rennes, France. It is situated on the Paris–Brest, Rennes–Saint-Malo and the Rennes–Redon railways. The station at Rennes was opened in 1857, and was situated a significant walking distance from the city centre. However, since that date the town has expanded and now the station lies in the central part of the city. It has access to Paris on the TGV, a two-hour trip; and serves Brittany with regular trains to Brest, Lannion, Nantes, Quimper and Saint-Malo. Train service is available to other cities in France such as Lyon, Montpellier, Marseille, Lille, Aix-en-Provence and Strasbourg. The station also has a direct train service to Brussels-South railway station once every day. It is served by ''Gares'' station of both lines of the Rennes Metro. Saint-Malo
Saint-Malo (, , ; Gallo: ; ) is a historic French port in Ille-et-Vilaine, Brittany, on the English Channel coast. The walled city had a long history of piracy, earning much wealth from local extortion and overseas adventures. Nantes station ( French: ''Gare de Nantes'') is the principal passenger railway station serving the French city of Nantes. It is a through station aligned east–west, with entrances and station facilities on both north and south sides. The two entrances are often described as ''Gare Nord'' and ''Gare Sud'', as if they were separate stations, but they are in fact linked to each other and to all the platforms by a pedestrian subway. Rennes Metro
The Rennes Metro (french: Métro de Rennes) ( br, Metro Roazhon) is a light metro system serving the city of Rennes in Brittany, France. Opened on March 15, 2002, it made Rennes the smallest city to have a metro system from 2002 to 2008. Currently the system contains two lines, Line A and B. It has 28 stations and stretches , with the majority of its route underground. The line A connects the quarter of Villejean to the quarter of Poterie, passing the city center. It is based on the Siemens VAL (véhicule automatique léger or light automatic vehicle in English) technology. In 2014, approximately 140,000 trips were made on the line daily. A second line, Line B, is opened on September 20, 2022.
