Gabriel Amigo III (born 1 June 1991) is a Filipino Enduro mountain bike athlete who is currently residing in Bislig, Philippines. Career He was crowned as the National Enduro Champion for men's elite category after winning the 2017 Philippine MTB Enduro National Championships held in Guimaras, Philippines. Amigo signed a contract with Norco Bicycles Philippines for Year 2017-2018, Trek Bicycles Philippines for Year 2018-2020, GT Bicycles Philippines for Year 2021-2023 and recently, he signed up with Pivot Bicycles Philippines and O'Neal Philippines for apparels. Bislig
Bislig, officially the City of Bislig ( ceb, Dakbayan sa Bislig; fil, Lungsod ng Bislig), is a 3rd class Cities of the Philippines#Legal classification, component city in the Provinces of the Philippines, province of Surigao del Sur, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 99,290 people. It is the most populous among the cities and municipalities in the province of Surigao del Sur. Barangay Mangagoy, the downtown area often dubbed by its residents as "the little city within the city", is the center of trade and industry of Bislig which has a population of 32,464 as of the 2015 estimate. Enduro (mountain Biking)
Enduro in its most basic definition is a type of mountain bike racing where the downhills are timed, and the uphills are mandatory but not timed. Riders are timed in stages that are primarily downhill, with neutral "transfer" stages in between. The transfer stages usually must be completed within a time-limit, but are not part of the accumulated time. Mountain bike racing (shortened MTB or ATB racing) is the competitive cycle sport discipline of mountain biking held on off-road terrain. Downhill mountain biking (DH) is a style of mountain biking practiced on steep, rough terrain that often features jumps, drops, rock gardens and other obstacles.
