Filadelfia () is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Vibo Valentia in the Italian region Calabria, located about southwest of Catanzaro and about northeast of Vibo Valentia. The city was built in 1783 by the people of Castelmonardo, on land that was from their city that was destroyed by an earthquake. It was named after the city of Philadelphia in the United States. The province of Vibo Valentia ( it, provincia di Vibo Valentia; Vibonese: ) is a province in the Calabria region of southern Italy, set up by a national law of 6 March 1992 which came into effect on 1 January 1996, and formerly part of the Province of Catanzaro. Its capital is the city of Vibo Valentia and its vehicle licence plate code is VV.
