Fernando Kurniawan (born 5 June 1988) is an Indonesian male badminton player. Personal life His brother Fran Kurniawan also a professional badminton player. His hobbies are playing basketball, and automotive modified. Career He joined PB Djarum badminton club in 2003, and in 2006 he joined the Indonesia national badminton team. In 2008, he became the champion of the Smiling Fish International Series tournament in men's doubles event partnered with Lingga Lie. They also won Singapore Asian Satellite tournament after beat Chayut Triyachart and Danny Bawa Chrisnanta of Singapore with the score 21-12, 17-21, 21-19. Chen Hung-ling
Chen Hung-ling (; born 10 February 1986) is a Taiwanese badminton player. Chen Hung-ling is a doubles specialist. His best results have come with Cheng Wen-hsing in mixed doubles, but he routinely competes in men's doubles with Lin Yu-lang. In 2011 Chen and Cheng won the tournament at the Japan Super Series. They have reached the semi-finals of five other super series tournaments. He is known as the only player in the elite tournament that wears glasses while playing on the court. is a Japanese badminton player from Tonami Transportation badminton team. In 2013, he and his men's doubles partner Noriyasu Hirata, received the Badminton Nippon League's Valuable Player Award. Bambang Suprianto (born 20 February 1969) is a retired badminton player from Indonesia. Career A durable all around player who won singles at the Singapore Open in 1991, Suprianto's greatest success came in doubles events. In the mid-1990s he and fellow countryman Rudy Gunawan formed one of the world's leading men's doubles teams. They won several top tier international titles, including the 1994 All-England Championship, but could not quite keep pace with countrymen Rexy Mainaky and Ricky Subagja who became the decade's most successful pair. Suprianto was a member of Indonesia's world champion Thomas Cup (men's international) teams in 1994, 1996 and 2002. Mohammad Ahsan (born 7 September 1987) is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with Djarum club who specializes in the men's doubles. He is three-time World Champion, three-time season ending finals champion, and Asian Games gold medalist. 2008 Pekan Olahraga National or the Indonesia National Games XVII were a major multi-sport event in Indonesia which took place in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, from 5–17 July 2008. A total of 7,946 athletes participated in the biggest-ever Pekan Olahraga Nasional and also the first on the island of Borneo. Tan Boon Heong
Tan Boon Heong (, born 18 September 1987) is a former World No.1 Malaysian professional badminton player in the men's doubles event. Career 2004-2006 Tan was previously paired with Hoon Thien How, with whom he won the World Junior Championships in 2004 and a silver medal at the 2006 Asian Badminton Championships. 2006 Nearing the Doha Asian Games in 2006, Rexy Mainaky (the Malaysian doubles coach) decided to split them up and partner Tan Boon Heong with Koo Kien Keat instead.
