Ferdinand Fritsch
Ferdinand Fritsch (29 March 1898 - 1966/67) was an Austrian football manager. Football Fritsch's first known job in football was with Arka Gdynia in 1950. Fritsch joined Arka's rivals Lechia Gdańsk in 1953, taking up the role while they were in the top flight of Polish football. His time at Lechia was unsuccessful with the team only winning 2 of his 18 games in charge. From leaving Lechia in 1953, Fritsch's next documented job was with Grazer AK in Austria in 1960 before leaving the role in 1962. Lechia Gdańsk () is a Polish football club based in Gdańsk. The club was founded in 1945 by people expelled from Lwów, who were supporters of Poland's oldest football team Lechia Lwów, founded in 1903. The club's name comes from Lechia, a poetic name for Poland, and is a continuation of the name used by the club based in Lwów. In their early years, Lechia enjoyed some success, most notably finishing third in the Polish top division, before spending decades in the second and third tiers. Grazer AK, founded 18 August 1902 as Grazer Athletiksport Klub (in Austria the abbreviation GAK is more common), is an Austrian sports club, from the city of Graz in the federal state of Styria (''Steiermark''). The football section used to be one of the most popular Austrian clubs, mostly successful in the decade 1995–2005. The other sections are basketball, diving and tennis, which however all act as separate legal entities.
