Fengjiayu
Fengjiayu Town () is a town located in the Miyun District of Beijing, China. It sits along the banks of Baimaguan River within the Yan Mountain Range. The town shares border with Dengchang Manchu Ethnic Township in its north, Bulaotun Town in its southeast, Shicheng Town in its southwest, and Changshaoying Manchu Ethnic Township in its northwest. As of 2020, it had a population of 4,485. According to local legend, Song female general Mu Guiying had once stayed here for armor repair, and the region was thus named Fengjiayu (). Later the name would evolved into Fengjiayu () of today. Shicheng Town () is a town located in the Miyun District of Beijing, China. It shares border with Changshaoying Manchu Ethnic Township and Fengjiayu Town to its north, Bulaotun and Xiwengzhuang Towns to its east, Xitiangezhuang and Huaibei Towns to its south, as well as Liulimiao and Tanghekou Towns to its west. As of 2020, its population was 4,014. The town was named after Shicheng Village, which hosts the town's government. Its name literally means "Stone City". Bulaotun Town () is a town located in the Miyun District of Beijing, China. It lies between part of Yan Mountain Range and Miyun Reservoir. The town borders Mayingzi Manchu Ethnic Township to the north, Gaoling Town to the east, Xiwengzhuang and Mujiayu Towns to the south, as well as Shicheng and Fengjiayu Towns to the west. Miyun District
Miyun District () is situated in northeast Beijing. It has an area of and a population of 460,800 (2010 Census). Miyun District government seat is located in Gulou Subdistrict. History Miyun was one of the places where Warlord Feng Yuxiang stationed his troops in preparation of the Beijing Coup of 1924. In the 1930s, Miyun District was occupied by the Imperial Japanese Army and became part of the area controlled by the East Hebei Autonomous Council, a puppet state of Japan. The Japanese occupation was challenged, however, when a local Taoist priest managed to incite Miyun's peasantry. As member of the Yellow Sand Society, he garnered followers and convinced them that they could become immune to gunfire through magical rituals that he performed. Thus highly motivated, the peasants launched a rebellion in July 1936 and defeated an East Hopei Army unit that was sent to suppress them. Mu Guiying (穆桂英) is a legendary heroine from ancient China's Northern Song Dynasty and a prominent figure in the ''Generals of the Yang Family'' legends. She is the wife of Yang Zongbao and mother of Yang Wenguang. Brave, resolute and loyal, Mu is the cultural symbol of a steadfast woman. Legends Mu Guiying practiced martial arts from a young age after her bandit father Mu Yu (穆羽) who ruled the Muke Fortress (穆柯寨). Song Dynasty
