List Of Township-level Divisions Of Beijing
This is a list of township-level divisions of the municipality of Beijing, People's Republic of China (PRC). After province, prefecture, and county-level divisions, township-level divisions constitute the formal fourth-level administrative divisions of the PRC. However, as Beijing is a province-level municipality, the prefecture-level divisions are absent and so county-level divisions are at the second level, and township-level divisions are at the third level of administration. There are a total of 331 such divisions in Beijing, divided into 150 subdistricts, 143 towns (30 of which are areas) and 38 townships (24 of which are areas). This list is organised by the county-level divisions of the municipality. Huoying Subdistrict
Huoying Subdistrict () is a subdistrict situated within Changping District, Beijing, China. It shares border with Dongxiaokou Town in the north and east, Xisanqi and Huilongguan Subdistricts in the south, and Longzeyuan Subdistrict in the west. According to the result of 2020 Chinese census, the subdistrict's population was 93,545. This region was once called Huoshaoying () Village during the Qing dynasty. As the amount of people with the surname Huo increased, it was later changed to Huoying. Liucun, Beijing
Liucun Town () is a town in Changping District, Beijing, China. Located in the eastern foothill of the Taihang Mountain Range, Liucun shares border with Nankou Town to its northeast, Yangfang and Machikou Town to its east, Sujiatuo and Miaofengshan Towns to its southeast, Yanchi Town to its southwest, and Ruiyunguan Township to its northwest. , it had 18,139 residents under its administration. Xingshou
Xingshou Town () is a town located in the east end of Changping District, Beijing, China. Bounded by Taihang Mountain Range to its immediate north, Xingshou shares border with Qiaozi and Yanshou Towns in the north, Beishicao and Zhaoquanying Towns in the east, Xiaotangshan Town in the south, and Cuicun Town in the west. It had a total popularion of 34,139 as of 2020. Beiqijia
Beiqijia Town () is a town located in the southwestern corner of Changping District, Beijing, China. It borders Baishan and Xiaotangshan Towns in the north, Houshayu Town and Sunhe Township in the east, Laiguangying Township and Tiantongyuanbei Subdistrict in the south, Dongxiaokou Town in the southwest, and Shahe Town in the west. Cuicun
Cuicun Town () is a town within Changping District, Beijing, China. Bounded by part of Taihang Mountain Range to its north, Cuicun borders Yanshou Town in its north, Xingshou Town in its east, Xiaotangshan and Baishan Towns in its south, as well as Nanshao and Shisanling Towns in its west. The result of the 2020 census indicated that the town was home to 24,630 inhabitants. The name of this town literally translates to "Cui's Village", and it was given for the town government's location between the Dongcui and Xicui Villages. Nanshao Town () is a town located in the eastern side of Changping District, Beijing, China. It shares border with Shisanling Town to its north, Cuicun Town to its east, Baishan and Shahe Towns to its south, Machikou Town to its southwest, Chengnan and Chengbei Subdistricts to its west. Xiaotangshan, Beijing
Xiaotangshan Town () is a small town in the Changping District of Beijing, China. It lies immediately outside the Beijing 6th Ringroad, to the north of the city. According to the 2020 census, Xiaotangshan was home to 80,273 inhabitants. Yangfang
Yangfang Town () is a town situated on southwestern Changping District, Beijing, China. Bounded by part of Taihang Mountain Range to the west, Yangfang shares border with Machikou Town in the north, Shangzhuang Town in the east, Sujiatuo Town in the south, and Liucun Town in the west. Huilongguan, Beijing
Huilongguan (回龙观) is a suburban residential neighborhood in northern Beijing, located in Changping District, 33 km north of the city. Originally, a satellite town, Huilongguan has grown to become part of the extended Beijing metropolis inside the 6th Ring Road. History During the Ming Dynasty, Emperor Hongzhi established a Taoist temple in what is now Huilongguan. This temple, named Xuanfu Palace, began construction in 1504 and was completed 12 years later, under the Zhengde Emperor. The temple later came to be known as Huilongguan. After its completion, the temple was often used by the Ming emperors as a stopping place between the Forbidden City and the Ming tombs at Tianshou Mountain. This may explain why the temple was also known as Huilongguan (Returning Dragon View).
