Federico Almerares
Federico Almerares (born 2 May 1985 in Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires Province) is an Argentina, Argentine former football (soccer), footballer who played as Forward (association football), striker or centre forward. Almerares came through the ranks at Club Atlético River Plate and made his debut in 2003, but never established himself in the first team, only making three appearances between 2005 and March 2008 when he went on trial with Allsvenskan, Swedish Allsvenskan club Djurgårdens IF Fotboll, Djurgårdens IF. The trial with the Stockholm club was unsuccessful, but he did gather attention from several other European clubs including R.S.C. Anderlecht and FK Austria Wien. Mar del Plata is a city on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. It is the seat of General Pueyrredón district. The 2008–09 Swiss Super League was the 112th season of top-tier football in Switzerland. The competition is officially named ''AXPO Super League'' due to sponsoring purposes. It began on 18 July 2008 with a match between Young Boys Bern and reigning champions FC Basel, which the latter won by 2–1. The last matches were played in May 2009. Orhan Mustafi
Orhan Mustafi ( mk, Орхан Мустафи; born 4 April 1990 in Kumanovo, SR Macedonia, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Swiss footballer of Albanian descent who plays for Young Fellows Juventus. Career Youth football Mustafi, who moved to Switzerland as a child, began his youth football with local club FC Domat/Ems. In 2003, he was scouted by Grasshopper Club Zürich and joined their youth department. After three years with the Grasshoppers, he moved to city and local rival FC Zürich in July 2006 on a two year youth contract. He made just one appearance for Zürich, as a substitute against FC St. Gallen, and as his contract ran to an end he moved on as free agent. FC Aarau
FC Aarau is a Swiss football club based in Aarau. They play in the Swiss Challenge League, the second tier of Swiss football after being relegated from Swiss Super League. History FC Aarau was formed on 26 May 1902 by workers from a local brewery. The early days of the club were a success and they won the Swiss championship in 1911–12 and then again in 1913–14. The club spent 25 years, from 1907 to 1933, in the top league but were relegated to the lower league and were unable to return to the top flight for a number of decades. The Promotion League, named the YAPEAL Promotion League for sponsorship reasons, is the third tier of the Swiss football league system. Eighteen clubs compete in the league, playing each other twice over the course of the season. The champions are promoted to the second tier, the Challenge League, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the 1. Liga. The league forms the semi-professional bridge to amateur football. Christian Gross
Christian Jürgen Gross (born 14 August 1954) is a Swiss football manager and former player who most recently coached Schalke 04. He played as a sweeper and central midfielder. Gross was manager of Basel from 1 July 1999 to 27 May 2009, winning four Swiss Super Leagues and four Swiss Cups. As manager of Tottenham Hotspur between November 1997 and September 1998, Gross became the first Swiss to manage in the Premier League. Playing career Gross began his playing career at SV Höngg before moving to Grasshopper in 1965, which he left in 1976. After two years at Lausanne-Sport and two seasons at Neuchâtel Xamax, he moved to Germany in 1980 to play for VfL Bochum of the Bundesliga.
