Fahad Nawaz
Fahad Nawaz (15 January 2000) is a cricketer who plays for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut against Nepal on 25 January 2019. In December 2020, he was one of ten cricketers to be awarded a year-long part-time contract by the Emirates Cricket Board. In September 2022, he was named in the UAE squad for the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup
The 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup was the eighth ICC Men's T20 World Cup tournament. It was played in Australia from 16 October to 13 November 2022. Although originally scheduled to be held in 2020, in July 2020, the International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed that the tournament had been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In August 2020, the ICC confirmed that Australia would host the rearranged tournament in 2022, while the T20 World Cup would take place in India in 2021 as originally planned, but that was later moved to the United Arab Emirates and Oman. On 21 January 2022, the ICC confirmed all the fixtures for the tournament. Hosts Australia were also the defending champions. A One Day International (ODI) is a form of limited overs cricket, played between two teams with international status, in which each team faces a fixed number of overs, currently 50, with the game lasting up to 9 hours. The Cricket World Cup, generally held every four years, is played in this format.
