Emirates Cricket Board
Emirates Cricket Board is the governing body of certain cricket activities in United Arab Emirates. It is United Arab Emirates's representative at the International Cricket Council and is an Associate Member and has been a Member of that body since 1990. It is also a Member of the Asian Cricket Council. On 21 July 2016, UAE cricket took a step towards "full professionalism", with the Emirates Cricket Board granting two-year central contracts to eight of its players. In June 2018, ECB announced the first ever T20 franchise league in UAE, scheduled to start later that year after the T10 tournament. In August 2022, a new T20 tournament was made by the board, known as the International League T20 or ILT20. International Cricket Council
The International Cricket Council (ICC) is the global Sports governing body, governing body of cricket. It was founded as the Imperial Cricket Conference in 1909 by representatives from Australia, England, and South Africa. In 1965, the body was renamed as the International Cricket Conference and adopted its current name in 1987. ICC has its headquarters in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Asian Cricket Council
The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) is a cricket organization which was established in 1983, to promote and develop the sport of Cricket in Asia. Subordinate to the International Cricket Council, the council is the continent's regional administrative body, and currently consists of 27 member associations. Mohsin Naqvi is the current president of Asian Cricket Council. Rohan Mustafa
Rohan Mustafa (; born 7 October 1988) is a Pakistani-born cricketer who has played for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team since 2007. He is a former national captain, and plays as a left-handed batsman and right-arm off-spin bowler. Early life Mustafa was born in Kohat, in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. When he was 10 his family moved to the UAE, where his father had a car sales business in Sharjah. He enrolled in the Sharjah Cricket Academy to pursue his career in cricket and his father provided him huge support to fulfill his cricketing ambitions. Ahmed Raza (; born 10 October 1988) is a cricketer who plays for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. Raza is a right-handed batsman who bowls slow left-arm orthodox. International League T20
The International League T20 (ILT20), also endorsed as the DP World ILT20 for sponsorship reasons, is a T20 cricket tournament being played in the United Arab Emirates. It is sanctioned by Emirates Cricket Board. The first edition of the tournament was originally scheduled to take place during January and February 2023, but it was rescheduled to take place from January 2024, with six teams competing.
