FIBA 3x3 U23 World Cup
The FIBA 3x3 U23 World Cup is a 3x3 youth international tournament sanctioned by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) since 2018 for basketball players up to 23 years old. The first edition will be held in Xi'an, China in 2018. FIBA decided to launch the tournament after the hosting of the first edition of the FIBA 3x3 U23 Nations League in 2017 which was deemed a success by the international basketball body. The FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup is an under-18 basketball tournament run by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) since 2011. The tournament was known as the FIBA 3x3 U18 World Championships until the 2016 edition. History The event was held for the first time in Rimini, Italy, in September 2011 and has been held annually since then. FIBA 3x3 World Championships
The FIBA 3x3 World Cup is a 3x3 basketball tournament for national teams organized by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). The debut of the tournament then named as the FIBA 3x3 World Championship was held in August 2012 in Athens, Greece. The current champions are Serbia in the men's division and France in the women's division. There are two events in the tournament; one for men and another for women. In the first edition, there was a mixed event where each team was composed of 2 men and 2 women.
