Echoshift
is a 2009 puzzle video game for the PlayStation Portable and PlayStation Vita. The game uses events known as "Time Bounces" in which a small section of time repeats itself over and over again. By exploiting time bounces, the player can overcome various obstacles that would have been otherwise impossible to navigate. The game is a spinoff of the ''Echochrome'' series. This game was re-released on the PlayStation Store for PS4/PS5's Classics Catalog on July 19, 2022. Gameplay The player controls a small stick-like figure who can walk, go up and down stairs, and press switches. The object of each level in the game is to move this stick figure from the entrance door to the exit door. There are multiple obstacles that the player must overcome to get to the exit door, including moving platforms, spiked blocks, and pressure-sensitive bridges. Artoon
Artoon Co., Ltd. (株式会社アートゥーン Kabushiki-Gaisha Ātūn) was a Japanese video game developer established in 1999. It became a subsidiary of AQ Interactive in May 2004 and became a wholly owned subsidiary in June 2005. The team was primarily affiliated in the United States with Microsoft Xbox (console), Xbox and Xbox 360 projects, although they had also worked with Hudson Soft and Nintendo on other platforms. Naoto Ohshima
(born February 26, 1964) is a Japanese artist and video game designer, best known for designing Sonic the Hedgehog (character), Sonic the Hedgehog and Dr. Eggman characters from Sega's ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' franchise. Although Yuji Naka created the original tech demo around which ''Sonic'' gameplay was based, the character in his prototype was a ball that lacked any specific features. Sonic Team considered numerous potential animal mascots before deciding on Ohshima's design, with an armadillo or hedgehog being the top choices because their spikes worked well with the concept of rolling into enemies. After leaving Sonic Team, Ohshima formed an independent game company called Artoon. , is a 2008 puzzle game created by Sony's Japan Studio and Game Yarouze for PlayStation 3 from the PlayStation Store and for PlayStation Portable (PSP). The gameplay involves a mannequin figure traversing a rotatable world where physics and reality depend on perspective. The world is occupied by Oscar Reutersvärd's impossible constructions.
