Erbim Fagu
Erbim Fagu (born 15 April 1987) is an Albanian professional football coach and a former defender. He retired from football at the early age of 27 due to numerous injuries. After retiring from playing football Erbim Fagu started his career as a coach. His beginnings as a coach were in the Akademia Futbollit created by two former national team players Alban Bushi and Redi Jupi. During his journey to this academy, he grew professionally and won his first trophies as a coach. After two years in this academy, Erbim Fagu was transferred to one of the best football academies in Albania, Football Republic, which was created in 2018 by Redi Jupi, with whom they had worked together before in the Akademia e Futbollit. In three years Erbim Fagu won many trophies making this academy one of the most famous in Albania. In June 2021 Erbim Fagu signed a three-year contract with the team of Tirana. Tirana
Tirana ( , ; aln, Tirona) is the capital and largest city of Albania. 2009–10 Albanian Cup
2009–10 Albanian Cup was the fifty-eighth season of Albania's annual cup competition. It began on 23 September 2009 with the First Preliminary Round. The winners of the competition qualified for the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League. Flamurtari were the defending champions. The rounds were played in a two-legged format similar to those of European competitions. If the aggregated score is tied after both games, the team with the higher number of away goals advances. If the number of away goals is equal in both games, the match is decided by extra time and a penalty shootout, if necessary. Preliminary Tournament In order to reduce the number of participating teams for the First Round to 32, a preliminary tournament was played. Albanian Cup
The Albanian Cup ( sq, Kupa e Shqipërisë) is the main "knockout" competition in Albanian football. The competition started in 1939 as Kupa e Mbretit (English:"The King's Cup"). Just after a year the cup was suspended as the Second World War started. It started again in 1948 as "Kupa e Republikes" (English: "Republic Cup") and from 1991 as "Kupa e Shqipërisë" (Albanian Cup). Today it is the second most important competition in Albania after the Kategoria Superiore. The winners of the Cup automatically earn the right to participate in the 1st qualifying round of the Europa Conference League. The Albanian Supercup is a single match usually at the beginning of the season between the winners of the Kategoria Superiore and Albanian Cup. Supercup final was not played in the occasions when the champion team won the Double (association football), Double. However, after year 2000 Albanian Football Association, AFA rules changed and the final would still be played against the Albanian Cup, Cup runner-ups. There have been 29 finals played in total. Albanian Superliga
The Kategoria Superiore, officially known as Abissnet Superiore for sponsorship reasons, is a professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Albanian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. It is contested by 10 clubs, and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Kategoria e Parë. Seasons run from August to May, with teams playing 36 matches each (playing each team in the league four times, twice at home and twice away). The competition was founded in 1930 as the Albanian National Championship during the reign of King Zog, shortly after the creation of the Albanian Football Association. Since 1930, 45 clubs have competed in recognised competitions, while only nine clubs have won the title: Tirana (26), Dinamo Tirana (18), Partizani (16), Vllaznia (9), Skënderbeu (8), Elbasani (2), Teuta (2), Flamurtari (1), and Kukësi (1). Qatar National Football Team
The Qatar national football team ( ar, منتخب قطر لكرة القدم) represents Qatar in international football, and is controlled by the Qatar Football Association and AFC. The team has appeared in ten Asian Cup tournaments and won it once in 2019, beating Japan, Saudi Arabia, and South Korea in the process, conceding just one goal. Gianni De Biasi
Giovanni "Gianni" De Biasi (, sq, Xhovani "Xhani" De Biazi), born 16 June 1956 is an Italian football coach and former player. He holds dual Italian and Albanian citizenship. De Biasi was the first coach of the Albania national team to lead the team to qualify for a major tournament, namely UEFA Euro 2016. Playing career De Biasi was born in Sarmede, Treviso, Italy. A midfielder, he started his professional playing career for Inter Milan; he was part of the first team squad but, despite this, never played for the ''nerazzurri'' and was then loaned to Serie C team Reggiana in 1975 and newly promoted Serie A club Pescara Calcio one year later.
