Edu Snethlage
Everardus "Edu" Snethlage (9 May 1886 – 12 January 1941) was a Dutch physician and footballer who played as a forward for HVV Quick and the Netherlands national team, becoming the all-time top scorer of the latter in 1909. Snethlage spent his entire playing career at HVV Quick in The Hague, thus being part of the so-called one-club men group. In total, he scored 53 goals in over 80 matches for the club, with his goalscoring performances proving crucial in helping the club win the Dutch championship in 1908, as well as three consecutive KNVB Cups between 1909 and 1911, netting once in a 6–1 win over HBS Craeyenhout in the final, to help his side win the only Cup title in the club's history. He was a member of the team that won the bronze medal in the football tournament of the 1908 Summer Olympics. Ngawi Regency is a regency (''kabupaten'') of East Java, Indonesia. Ngawi is well known around the world for its '' Pithecantropus erectus'' that was found by Eugene Dubois, a Dutchman. Ngawi is located in East Java Province, but adjoins Central Java province. Its capital Ngawi (city). The Sweden national football team ( sv, svenska fotbollslandslaget) represents Sweden in men's international football and it is controlled by the Swedish Football Association, the governing body of football in Sweden. Edgar Chadwick
Edgar Wallace Chadwick (14 June 1869 – 14 February 1942) was a left-sided footballer who had a long and distinguished career with Everton during the 1890s. He was also the national coach for the Netherlands from 1908 to 1913. His cousin, Arthur Chadwick, also played for England and Southampton, while another cousin, Albert Chadwick, played for Everton. The Zilveren Bal () was a football tournament featuring clubs from the Netherlands that was held annually in Rotterdam prior to each season from 1901 to 1956. The tournament was created in 1901 by Sparta Rotterdam, in the aftermath of their relegation from the top-flight. The trophy is a ball made up of silver, hence its name. The ''Zilveren Bal'' tournament was for many years the most important cup tournament in the Netherlands, even more important than the Holdert Cup (now known as KNVB Cup). HFC Haarlem
HFC Haarlem was a Dutch football club from the city of Haarlem, established in 1889 and dissolved in 2010. The club won the Eredivisie in 1946 and reached five Cup finals, winning in 1902 and 1912. Haarlem reached the second round of the 1982–83 UEFA Cup, losing to Spartak Moscow of the Soviet Union.
