Dublin GAA
The Dublin County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) ( ga, Cumann Luthchleas Gael Coiste Contae Átha Cliath) or Dublin GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in the Dublin Region and the Dublin county teams. The teams and their fans are known as "The Dubs" or "Boys in Blue". The fans have a special affiliation with the Hill 16 end of Croke Park. St Vincents GAA
St Vincents is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Marino, on the northside of Dublin, Ireland. The club was founded in 1931 in Marino, instrumental in the founding of the club were Rev Dr William Fitzpatrick (St Vincent de Paul Church, Marino) and Bro. Ernest Fitzgerald (Scoil Mhuire CBS, Marino). Although its club grounds were in Raheny for a number of years, it moved to its home back into Marino in 1987. St Vincents merged with Marino Camogie Club in 1997 to form the St Vincents Hurling, Football and Camogie Club. They have won the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship on three occasions, most recently in 2014. They are the most successful side in the Dublin Senior Football championship having won the title 29 times. Dublin Senior Hurling Championship 2006
This is a round-up of the 2006 Dublin Senior Hurling Championship. The previous champions were UCD, who did not have a chance to retain their title this year as they were not entered in the competition. Craobh Chiaráin won the 2006 championship by Ballyboden St Endas to claim their 8th title. Craobh went on to the Leinster senior club hurling championship preliminary round against Mount Leinster Rangers of Carlow. They defeated Mount Leinster Rangers to go on to the semi-final of the Leinster championship against Birr of Offaly. Quarterfinals Semi-final and Final Last 16 Final Craobh Chiaráins victory over Ballyboden St Endas meant that they progressed to the preliminary round of the Leinster championship against the Carlow hurling champions Mount Leinster Rangers. Simon Lambert (born 17 April 1988) is a hurler for Dublin and Ballyboden St Enda's. He won a Dublin Senior Hurling Championship medal with Ballyboden in 2007. Paul Ryan (hurler)
Paul Ryan (born 3 November 1988) is an Irish hurler who plays as a full-forward for the Dublin senior team. Born in Dublin, Ryan first played competitive hurling with the combined Dublin Colleges team, winning an All-Ireland medal in 2006. He simultaneously came to prominence at juvenile and underage levels with the Ballyboden St Enda's club, winning a minor championship medal in 2006. Ryan subsequently joined the Ballyboden St Enda's senior team and has since won six county senior championship medals. Ryan made his debut on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he was selected for the Dublin minor team. He enjoyed one unsuccessful championship season with the minor team. Conal Keaney (born 24 September 1982) is an Irish Gaelic football, footballer and Hurling, hurler who played for Dublin GAA, Dublin and Ballyboden St Enda's GAA, Ballyboden St Enda's. David Curtin
David Curtin (born 13 September 1980) is an inter-county hurling player who plays for Dublin. He plays his club hurling for Dublin side Ballyboden St Enda's. In 2005, he will be remembered for his astounding performance against Laois which confirmed Dublins All-Ireland status for the 2006 championship. Curtin finished the game with an impressive scoreline of 1-7. In the 2006 All-Ireland championship, this feat was repeated when Dublin swept aside Westmeath to once retain their Liam MacCarthy Cup status. Shane Durkin
Shane Durkin (born 1 July 1987) is an Irish hurler who plays for Dublin Senior Championship club Ballyboden St Enda's. He usually plays as a wing-back, but can also be deployed at midfield. Durkin was a member of the Dublin senior hurling team that won the 2011 National League and 2013 Leinster Championship. Durkin first came to prominence as a hurler and Gaelic footballer at juvenile and underage levels with the Ballyboden St Enda's club. Gary Maguire (born 26 June 1983) is an Irish people, Irish former Hurling, hurler who played as a goalkeeper for the senior Dublin county hurling team, Dublin county team. Alan McCrabbe
Alan McCrabbe (born 29 April 1986 in Dublin) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club Craobh Chiaráin and has been a member of the Dublin senior inter-county team since 2006. Playing career Club McCrabbe plays his club hurling with his local club Craobh Chiaráin and has enjoyed some success. In 2006 he lined out in his first county senior championship final, with Ballyboden St. Enda's providing the opposition. A narrow 2-10 to 2-8 score line gave Craobh Chiaráin the victory and gave McCrabbe a county winners' medal. Craobh Chiaráin subsequently represented Dublin in the Leinster club series of games.
