Gary Maguire
Gary Maguire (born 26 June 1983) is an Irish people, Irish former Hurling, hurler who played as a goalkeeper for the senior Dublin county hurling team, Dublin county team. Maguire made his first appearance for the team during the National Hurling League 2004, 2004 National League and has been Dublin's first-choice goalkeeper since then. Since then he has won one National Hurling League medal and one GAA All Stars Awards, All-Star award. Maguire has been a runner-up in two Leinster Senior Hurling Championship, Leinster finals. At club level Maguire plays with Ballyboden St Enda's GAA, Ballyboden St Enda's and has won five consecutive Dublin Senior Hurling Championship, county club championship medals. Ballyboden St Enda's (''CLG Baile Buadáin Naomh Éanna'' in Irish) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Knocklyon, South Dublin, Ireland. The Club serves the Rathfarnham, Knocklyon, Ballycullen, Ballyboden, Ballyroan, Firhouse areas. They offer hurling, camogie, Gaelic football, handball, and rounders. O'Tooles GAC (Irish: ''Cumann Uí Thuathail'') is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Ayrfield, Dublin, Ireland, formed in 1901. History Early years O'Tooles GAC was formed in 1901 at 100 Seville Place in the north inner city of Dublin from the Gaelic League branch. The Gaelic League branch held their inaugural meeting in February 1901. Francis Cahill was one of the founding members of the club and Brother J.A. Dual player or dual star is a term used in Hiberno-English to describe someone who competes in multiple sports — for example, in Victorian Ireland, cricket and hurling. The term today in Gaelic games typically describes a male player who plays both Gaelic football and hurling or, if a female player, a player of ladies' Gaelic football and camogie. The player does not necessarily have to play at the same standard in both sports. The GAA Interprovincial Championship ( ga, An Corn Idir-Chúigeach) or Railway Cup (''Corn an Iarnróid'') is the name of two annual Gaelic football and hurling competitions held between the provinces of Ireland. The Connacht, Leinster, Munster and Ulster GAA teams are composed of the best players from the counties in each province. The games are organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association. Shane Durkin
Shane Durkin (born 1 July 1987) is an Irish hurler who plays for Dublin Senior Championship club Ballyboden St Enda's. He usually plays as a wing-back, but can also be deployed at midfield. Durkin was a member of the Dublin senior hurling team that won the 2011 National League and 2013 Leinster Championship.
