Dmitre Razgulajevs
Dmitre Razgulajevs (born November 19, 1996) is a Canadian ice dancer, who currently competes with Molly Lanaghan. With his former partner Mackenzie Bent, he was the 2016 Canadian national junior champion and finished in the top ten at the 2016 World Junior Championships. Personal life Dmitre Razgulajevs was born on November 19, 1996 in Boston, Massachusetts. He moved to Canada with his parents, Irina and Juris Razgulajevs, in 1999. His father competed in ice dancing for the Soviet Union, Latvia, Uzbekistan, and Japan. He maintains a close friendship with a group of people he’s known since Grade 5: Kevin Bonilla, Madison Marple, and Kirk Schlichting. Career Early career Razgulajevs began skating in 2001. 2020 Skate Canada International
The 2020 Skate Canada International was scheduled to be the second event in the 2020–21 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, a senior-level international invitational competition series. It would have been held at TD Place Arena in Ottawa, Ontario on October 30–31. Medals were to be awarded in the disciplines of single skating, men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, a large number of modifications were made to the Grand Prix structure. The competitors consisted only of skaters from the home country, skaters already training in the host nation, and skaters assigned to that event for geographic reasons. On October 1, 2020, Skate Canada announced that Skate Canada International would be held without an audience present. The event was cancelled on October 14. The Bavarian Open is an annual international figure skating competition organized by the Skating Union of Bavaria. Since 2011, it is sanctioned by the Deutsche Eislauf Union and the International Skating Union. The event is held in February at Eissportzentrum Oberstdorf in Oberstdorf, Germany. The 2020 Canadian Tire National Skating Championships were held on January 13–19, 2020, in Mississauga, Ontario. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance on the senior, junior, and novice levels. Lake Placid Ice Dance International
The Lake Placid Ice Dance International is an annual ice dance competition held in Lake Placid, New York. It was first held in 1932. In 2015 and 2016, the senior international event was included in the International Skating Union's calendar. The event takes place early in the season, usually in late July. Medals are awarded on the senior and junior levels. The 2021 edition of the event was held in Norwood, Massachusetts due to construction at its traditional Lake Placid site.
