2016–17 Figure Skating Season
The 2016–17 figure skating season began on July 1, 2016, and ended on June 30, 2017. Elite skaters began the season competing on the Grand Prix series or Junior Grand Prix series, culminating in the Grand Prix Final, and the ISU Challenger Series. Nathan Bartholomay
Nathan Bartholomay (born May 18, 1989) is an American pair skater. With his former partner Deanna Stellato-Dudek, he is the 2018 Ondrej Nepela Trophy silver medalist, the 2018 Nebelhorn Trophy bronze medalist, and a two-time U.S. national bronze medalist (2018 and 2019). With former partner Felicia Zhang, he is a two-time U.S. national medalist (silver in 2014, bronze in 2013) and competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics. He is currently paired with Katie McBeath. Mari Vartmann
Mari-Doris Vartmann (born 25 December 1988) is a German pair skater. With Ruben Blommaert, she won four ISU Challenger Series medals. With Aaron Van Cleave, she is the 2015 German national champion, the 2011 NRW Trophy champion, and 2010 Warsaw Cup champion. Personal life Vartmann was born on 25 December 1988 in Neuss, West Germany. She is of German and Japanese descent. Ádám Lukács
Ádám Lukács (born 25 June 1996) is a Hungarian ice dancer. With his skating partner, Anna Yanovskaya, he is a three-time Hungarian national champion (2018–19, 2021) and has competed in the final segment at three ISU Championships. With his former skating partner, Carolina Moscheni, he placed 14th at the 2014 World Junior Championships. Career Lukács began learning to skate in 2004. Andrei Dmitriyevich Deputat (russian: Андрей Дмитриевич Депутат; born 20 December 1992) is a Ukrainian-Russian pair skater who has represented Russia internationally since 2012. Filippo Ambrosini (born 26 April 1993) is an Italian pair skater. With former partner Madeline Aaron, he is the 2014 CS U.S. Classic bronze medalist, a two-time U.S. national pewter medalist (2015–2016), and the 2014 U.S. national junior champion.
