Mickey Mousecapade
''Mickey Mousecapade'', released in Japan as , is a platform video game developed and published by Hudson Soft originally in 1987 for the Family Computer (Famicom) in Japan. Capcom published the game for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in the United States in 1988. The game's plot involves Mickey Mouse attempting to save Alice from ''Alice in Wonderland''. Minnie Mouse follows Mickey around and occasionally gets kidnapped. Various villains from Disney cartoons and animated films appear throughout the game as bosses. Summary Mickey and Minnie are traveling through the Fun House, the Ocean, the Forest, the Pirate Ship, and the Castle trying to rescue someone mentioned only as "a friend" in ads and the instruction manual. In the game's ending, the friend is revealed to be Alice from ''Alice in Wonderland''. In the Japanese version, Alice is prominently featured on the box art and instruction manual. Master System
The is an 8-bit third-generation home video game console manufactured by Sega. It was originally a remodeled export version of the Sega Mark III, the third iteration of the SG-1000 series of consoles, which was released in Japan in 1985 and featured enhanced graphical capabilities over its predecessors. The Master System launched in North America in 1986, followed by Europe in 1987, and then in Brazil and Korea in 1989. A Japanese version of the Master System was also launched in 1987, which features a few enhancements over the export models (and by proxy the original Mark III): a built-in FM audio chip, a rapid-fire switch, and a dedicated port for the 3D glasses. The Sega Genesis, known as the outside North America, is a 16-bit Fourth generation of video game consoles, fourth generation home video game console developed and sold by Sega. Sega AM7
is a development department within Japanese video game developer Sega that also previously existed as Wow Entertainment and AM1 spent most of its early existence under the leadership of Rikiya Nakagawa and developed a number of arcade games for Sega. In 2000, Sega split its development studios into nine semi-autonomous companies, with AM1 becoming Wow Entertainment. Wow developed games for the Dreamcast and later other consoles as well as arcade games. In 2003, as part of studio consolidations within Sega, Wow was merged with (originally titled and later AM7) and renamed to Sega Wow. Nakagawa resigned a few weeks later after Sammy Corporation acquired a significant amount of shares in Sega. Sega Wow was re-integrated back into the company the next year. ''Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse'' is a 1990 platform game developed by Sega and released for the Mega Drive/Genesis. An 8-bit version of the game was later released for the Master System and Game Gear. The game follows Mickey Mouse on a quest to save Minnie Mouse from the evil witch Mizrabel. It is the first game in Sega's ''Illusion'' video game series starring Mickey. ''Castle of Illusion'' was very well received by critics, especially the original 16-bit version.
