The Devils Wrocław were an American football team based in Wrocław, Poland. They played in the Polish American Football League. Devils' American affiliate is Chattanooga Steam from Tennessee. In 2013, they merged with Giants Wrocław forming a new team Panthers Wrocław. History The team was founded in May 2005. 2012 PLFA Season
The 2012 season of the Polish American Football League was the seventh season played by the american football leagues in Poland. In 2012, the Topliga was created as a major league with a bid (invitation) rule. Remaining teams was divided into two leagues (PLFA I and PLFA II) between which there is promotion and relegation. Both, PLFA I and PLFA II, was divided into two divisions, for the geographical reason. Regular season of the Topliga took place between March 24 and June 17, 2012. The Polish champion was determined in the play-off final - the VII SuperFinal PLFA (known as the Polish Bowl VII). The Seahawks Gdynia beat the Warsaw Eagles in the championship game 52–37 hosted at the National Stadium in Warsaw. 2011 PLFA Season
The 2011 season of the Polish American Football League (PLFA I) was the 6th season played by the major american football league in Poland. It was the first time that the PLFA I consisted of ten teams. The regular season took place between April 2 and June 19, 2011. The Polish champion was determined in the play-off final; the VI SuperFinal PLFA (known as the Polish Bowl VI). Warsaw Eagles
The Warsaw Eagles are an American football team in Warsaw, Poland. They play in the Polish Football League. Paul Kusmierz is the owner of the team. History The team was founded in 1999 by a group of NFL enthusiasts consisting of Jędrzej Staszewski, Piotr Gorzkowski, Jan Kowalski, Grzegorz Mikuła, and Tomasz Kozankiewicz, who are considered to be the founders of the Warsaw Eagles club. In 2004 the club purchased professional sports gear for the first time to be able to spar with the very first opponent on the Polish arena - Fireballs Wielkopolska. The first game was played on December 17 of 2004 in Suchy Las near Poznań. In 2006 along with 1.
