''Deadfall Adventures'' is an action-adventure video game developed by The Farm 51 and published by Nordic Games. ''Deadfall Adventures'' was released on November 15, 2013, for Windows and Xbox 360, and on October 28, 2014, for PlayStation 3 under the name of ''Deadfall Adventures: Heart of Atlantis''. The game is set in the universe of the Allan Quatermain series, created by H. Rider Haggard. Gameplay ''Deadfall Adventures'' is a first person action-adventure video game that takes place before World War II. The Farm 51
The Farm 51 is a Polish video game developer founded in 2005 by Wojciech Pazdur and Kamil Bilczyński, which previously worked on the ''Painkiller'' series at People Can Fly, and Robert Siejka, former president of 3D Magazine. Originally, the company made some outsourcing contracts work for other studios, but then gathered enough IP to get funding from 1C Company for their 2009 debut project, '' NecroVisioN'', and then its prequel, '' NecroVisioN: Lost Company''. They were initially working on City Interactive's ''Alien Fear'', but are no longer involved with the project. They have also released ''Deadfall Adventures'', on 15 November 2013. Atlantis
Atlantis ( grc, Ἀτλαντὶς νῆσος, , island of Atlas) is a fictional island mentioned in an allegory on the hubris of nations in Plato's works '' Timaeus'' and '' Critias'', wherein it represents the antagonist naval power that besieges "Ancient Athens", the pseudo-historic embodiment of Plato's ideal state in '' The Republic''. In the story, Athens repels the Atlantean attack unlike any other nation of the known world, supposedly bearing witness to the superiority of Plato's concept of a state. The story concludes with Atlantis falling out of favor with the deities and submerging into the Atlantic Ocean. Despite its minor importance in Plato's work, the Atlantis story has had a considerable impact on literature. Metacritic is a website that aggregates reviews of films, TV shows, music albums, video games and formerly, books. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted average). Metacritic was created by Jason Dietz, Marc Doyle, and Julie Doyle Roberts in 1999. The site provides an excerpt from each review and hyperlinks to its source. A color of green, yellow or red summarizes the critics' recommendations. It is regarded as the foremost online review aggregation site for the video game industry. Metacritic's scoring converts each review into a percentage, either mathematically from the mark given, or what the site decides subjectively from a qualitative review. GameRankings was a video gaming review aggregator that was founded in 1999 and owned by CBS Interactive. It indexed over 315,000 articles relating to more than 14,500 video games. GameRankings was discontinued in December 2019, with its staff being merged with the similar aggregator Metacritic. Rankings GameRankings collected and linked to (but did not host) reviews from other websites and magazines and averages specific ones. While hundreds of reviews may get listed, only the ones that GameRankings deemed notable were used for the average. Scores were culled from numerous American and European sources.
