Dreamworld Studios
Dreamworld Studios was an auditorium with production facilities located at the Dreamworld (Australia), Dreamworld theme park on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Gold Coast, Australia. It is notable for being the location of ''Big Brother (Australian TV series), Big Brother Australia''s live shows. In 2019, the studio, along with the Big Brother house, was bulldozed to make way for Steel Taipan. History ''Dreamworld Studios'' opened in 1986 as the ''Music Bowl''. Around 1990, the auditorium's name was changed to ''Dreamworld Amphitheatre'' before being renamed ''Dreamworld Studios'' in 2001 when Big Brother Australia began production. The Dreamworld Express is a narrow gauge railway located at the Dreamworld theme park on the Gold Coast, Queensland in Australia. History The Dreamworld Express opened with Dreamworld on 15 December 1981, as the ''Cannonball Express''. At the time, the railway only featured a single stop in Main Street. A steam locomotive built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1917 was purchased and of track was said to have been laid to develop the ride. This figure must relate to the quantity of rail used as reference to maps show that the line is only about in length. The Baldwin locomotive was originally used during the First World War in France before being relocated to Queensland for use on the cane fields. Ocean Parade is a themed land at the Dreamworld amusement park on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. It features 3 of the ''Big 7 Thrill Rides'' at Dreamworld. Thunderbolt (Dreamworld)
The Thunderbolt was a steel roller coaster located at the Dreamworld theme park in Gold Coast, Australia. The roller coaster opened with the park in April 1982 and operated until 8 August 2003. It was demolished the following year. History On 15 December 1981, Dreamworld officially opened to the public. In April 1982, the park opened its first roller coaster, the Thunderbolt. It was the first roller coaster in Australia to feature vertical loops. Originally painted completely white, the Thunderbolt was repainted around 1990 to feature golden loops.
