Dola Banerjee
Dola Banerjee ( bn, দোলা ব্যানার্জি; born 2 June 1980) is an Indian sportswoman who competes in archery. Early life Dola Banerjee is daughter of Ashok Banerjee and Kalpana Banerjee. She was born in Baranagar near Kolkata. She studied in Baranagar Rajkumari Memorial Girls High School. At the age of eight, she joined Baranagar Archery Club. Her first international appearance was in Youth World Championship in San Diego in 1996 Career Dola Banerjee started archery at the Baranagar Archery Club in 1990 when she was barely 9 years of age. She represented at the tender age of 16 at the Youth World Championship, San Diego in 1996. Since then she has been a regular member of the Indian women’s archery team. Kirstin Jean Lewis
Kirstin Jean Lewis (born 1975) is a South African archer. She represented South Africa at the 1996, 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics. In 2004, she placed 52nd in the women's individual ranking round with a 72-arrow score of 606. In the first round of elimination, she faced 13th-ranked Dola Banerjee of India. Lewis pulled off a surprising upset, defeating Banerjee 141–131 in the 18-arrow match to advance to the round of 32. In that round, she faced another Indian archer, Sumangala Sharma. Deepika Kumari
Deepika Kumari (born 13 June 1994) is an Indian professional archer. Currently ranked the World No. 2, she competes in the event of archery. She won a gold medal in the 2010 Commonwealth games in the women's individual recurve event. She also won a gold medal in the same competition in the women's team recurve event along with Dola Banerjee and Bombayala Devi. She has won individual gold in two of the three stages of the World Cup--one in Guatemala and another in Paris. In the process she also reclaimed the number one ranking after nine years in Paris World Cup. Deepika Kumari won individual gold medals at the Archery World Cup Stage 1. Deepika Kumari also defeated Mexico by 5–1 in the final to win gold in Paris. Marie-Pier Beaudet (born December 12, 1986) is a former Canadian archer who competed at three Summer Olympic Games between 2004 and 2012. Beaudet made her international debut in 2002, and in addition to the Olympic Games has contested the Pan American Games, in which she won a silver medal in 2007, and the Commonwealth Games, in which she earned a bronze medal in 2010. Career Beaudet was born on December 12, 1986 in Quebec City, Quebec. She made her debut to the Canadian national team at the World Archery Youth Championships in 2002, and won her first international competition in Arizona that same year, a moment she reflected in 2015 as her greatest achievement. Bombayla Devi Laishram (born 22 February 1985) is an Indian archer. A member of the national recurve team representing India at the international events since 2007, she has won a silver medal at the World Archery Championships, and four gold, five silver, and four bronze medals at various editions of the Archery World Cup. Laishram peaked at no. 14 in the world rankings in March 2009. Born in Imphal East, Manipur, Laishram began playing archery at the age of 11 and joined the Sports Authority of India under the guidance of her father.
