Danish International Brigade
The Danish International Brigade (), short DIB (also sometimes known as the ''Danish Reaction Brigade'') was a Denmark, Danish military brigade. The political decision to form this brigade was conceived in the Danish Defence agreement 1992–1995. The formal decision to form the Brigade was made by the Folketing on 25 November 1993 and this date is often regarded as the birth of the Brigade. The Brigade was then formed, with staff and all subunits from the dispand 2.Zealand Brigade (2.SBDE) on 1 July 1994. The background for its existence was changes in NATO's structure, in the European security situation and as a direct response to Denmark’s involvement in UNPROFOR. Danish International Logistical Center
The Danish International Logistical Center (DANILOG) was established in 2001 as a regimental-level logistics unit that is part of the Danish Army Operational Command. It was based out of Vordingborg Kaserne. Logistic Regiment (Denmark)
The Logistic Regiment ( da, Trænregimentet) is the military logistics regiment of the Royal Danish Army, responsible for army supply and emergency medical personnel. It is based in Aalborg. History Regimental origins can be traced back to 1865 when the first logistic companies were established in the Royal Artillery. Engineer Regiment (Denmark)
The Engineer Regiment ( da, Ingeniørregimentet) is a regiment in the Royal Danish Army with base in Skive in Jutland. The soldiers of this regiment are trained in skills such as shooting, blasting, setting up camp, and much more. The engineer troops are also trained to fight alongside infantry regiments in combat zones if needed. This regiment was formed by the amalgamation of nearly all of the Danish military engineering corps into one regiment in 1997, simply named ''Ingeniørregimentet''. The core of the Danish combat engineers are the so-called armored engineers. These units usually work in detached squads, each under the command of and attached to an infantry company, and equipped with an M113. The King's Artillery Regiment ( da, Kongens Artilleriregiment, KAR) was an artillery regiment of the Royal Danish Army. History The ''Kongens Artilleriregiment'' was formed on 1 August 1982 by merging Kronens Artilleriregiment from Sjælsmark barracks and Sjællandske Artilleriregiment from Holbæk barracks. The Guard Hussar Regiment ( da, Gardehusarregimentet, GHR) is a cavalry unit of the Royal Danish Army, whose primary task is to train the Guard Hussars for various functions in the mobilisation force. The Zealand Life Regiment ( da, Sjællandske Livregiment) was a Royal Danish Army infantry regiment. On 1 January 2001 it was disbanded and amalgamated into the Guard Hussar Regiment, which was moved from Næstved to Slagelse. History The Sjællandske Livregiment could trace its history back to 1614.
