Chaoyang University Of Technology
Chaoyang University of Technology (CYUT; ) is a university in Wufeng District, Taichung, Taiwan. Founded in 1994, originally named Chaoyang Institute of Technology was designated by the Ministry of Education as a University of Technology, the highest level in the technological and vocational education system within the R.O.C in 1997. Currently, the University comprises 5 colleges and 23 departments, which offer 23 master's programs and 5 doctoral programs. The are 18,000 students currently enrolled is around 18,00, and faculty and staff total about 1,000. CYUT’s teachers and facilities have been recognized for excellence, and its goal is to become a large type institution of higher learning. Wufeng District
Wufeng District () is a suburban district in southern Taichung, Taiwan. It is the location of Taiwan Provincial Consultative Council. Wufeng is a mainly agricultural town. It was heavily damaged by the Jiji earthquake on 21 September 1999, which caused around 100 deaths in the town. The 921 Earthquake Museum of Taiwan, which commemorates the giant quake, is built at what was formerly Guangfu Junior High School, which was destroyed when part of the school was uplifted by the Chelungpu Fault during the quake. The two major geographical features of this town are the Wu Xi (Wu Stream), which forms the town's southern border, and Xiangbi Shan (Elephant Trunk Mountain), which lies in the eastern part of the township. Mainland is defined as "relating to or forming the main part of a country or continent, not including the islands around it egardless of status under territorial jurisdiction by an entity" The term is often politically, economically and/or demographically more significant than politically associated remote territories, such as exclaves or oceanic islands situated outside the continental shelf. Poding Memorial Library
Poding Memorial Library () is the library at Chaoyang University of Technology in Wufeng District, Taichung, Taiwan, established in 1994. The construction of the new library building began in June 1997, and was completed in March 1999. History The first class of Chaoyang University of Technology started in August 1994, and the library opened on October 11 of the same year. The third floor of the university's Teaching Building temporarily served as the library's quarters. It was divided into a periodical and reference room, stacks, and a reading room. Afterward, the collection of the library increased so rapidly that in order to satisfy the needs of users it became necessary to add western book stacks and more separate rooms in November 1996. After a year of planning, the construction of the new library building began on June 28, 1997, and was completed in March 1999. Nantou County
Nantou County (; Hokkien POJ: ''Lâm-tâu-koān''; Hakka PFS: ''Nàm-thèu-yen'') is the second largest county of Taiwan by area, located in the central part of the country. New Era University College
New Era University College (NEUC) is a private, non-profit higher education institution in Kajang, Selangor, Malaysia. It was founded on May 28, 1997. NEUC is a LCCI Registered Training Centre (RTC), and also a Cisco Networking Academy, teaches students networking and other information technology-related courses such as CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional).
