Courtney Chenier
Courtney Chenier (born October 5, 1992 in New Liskeard, Ontario) is a Canadian curler from Ottawa, Ontario. She was the alternate for the Tracy Fleury rink at the 2015 Scotties Tournament of Hearts. Career Chenier won the 2011 and 2012 Northern Ontario Junior Curling Championships as a member of the Kendra Lilly rink. This qualified her for the Canadian Junior Curling Championships in each of those years. At the 2011 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, Chenier's team of Lilly, Jen Gates and Kim Curtin went 6–6 and missed the playoffs. At the 2012 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, her team of Lilly, Crystal Lillico and Avery Thomas went 6–6 again, missing the playoffs. Following her junior career, Chenier and Lilly formed their own rink with Laura Pickering-Forget and Joanne Comé-Forget. They went 4–5 with this team at her first provincial championship in 2013. Temiskaming Shores
Temiskaming Shores is a city in the Timiskaming District in Northeastern Ontario, Canada. It was created by the amalgamation of the town of New Liskeard, the town of Haileybury, and the township of Dymond in 2004. The city had a total population of 9,634 in the Canada 2021 Census. Temiskaming Shores is Ontario's second-smallest city, in terms of population, after Dryden. Haileybury is the seat of Timiskaming District. Prior to the amalgamation of Temiskaming Shores, the region was commonly nicknamed The Tri-Towns, a designation that also encompassed the neighbouring town of Cobalt. Cobalt was also part of the original Temiskaming Shores amalgamation plan, but rejected the merger. The Tri-Towns designation may still be used on occasion, but has become significantly less common since the municipal amalgamation. Julie Hastings
Julie Hastings (born September 5, 1975 in North York as Julie Anderson) is a Canadian curler from Stouffville, Ontario. Career As a junior curler, Hastings won the 1992 Ontario Junior Mixed Championship playing third for skip Brad Savage. In 1994, she won the Toronto Curling Association Junior bonspiel. At just 19, Hastings made it to the final of the 1995 Ontario Scott Tournament of Hearts, losing to Alison Goring. On the Women's World Curling Tour circuit, Hastings' team has won the Brampton Bacardi Cashspiel in 2005, the Sun Life Invitational in 2007, the Brampton Curling Classic in 2009, the Stu Sells Toronto Tankard in 2010, the KW Fall Classic in 2009, 2011, 2013, and 2014, the Mount Lawn Gord Carroll Classic in 2013, and the Stroud Sleeman Cash Spiel in 2012 and 2014. Sarah Koltun
Sarah Elizabeth Anne Koltun (born July 6, 1993) is a Canadian curler from Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. She currently plays second on Team Kerry Galusha. Career At just 13 years old, Koltun's first national championship was at the 2007 Canadian Junior Curling Championships where her team finished last with a 1–11 record. Later that year, she skipped the Yukon rink to a 1–5 record at the 2007 Canada Winter Games. She also skipped the Yukon team at the next seven Canadian Junior Curling Championships. Her best result was in 2013, skipping the team to a 7–4 record before losing in a tiebreaker. Other notable results were a 6–6 record in 2011 and a 5–7 finish in 2009. Kerry Galusha (born Kerry Koe on November 3, 1977) is a Canadian curler. She currently skips her team out of the Yellowknife Curling Club in Yellowknife. Career Juniors Galusha's first national experience was at the 1992 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. She was the fifth player for Janet Sian. The team would finish in eleventh place with a 2-9 record. She would return to the junior championships again in 1993, this time playing third stones for Tara Hamer. The team would finish in tenth place with a 2-9 record. The team would return again in 1994, finishing with a 5-6 record. The 2015 Northern Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts was held from January 15 to 18 at the Fort William Curling Club in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Tracy Horgan
Tracy Fleury (born June 13, 1986, as Tracy Horgan) is a Canadian curler from Sudbury, Ontario. She joined the Rachel Homan rink as skip for the 2022–23 season. In 2021, she led her team to a silver medal at the 2021 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials. She has competed at the Canadian national championship five times and was the Northern Ontario women's junior champion skip from 2005 to 2007. Fleury represented Northern Ontario at three Canadian Junior Curling Championships during her junior career (2005, 2006 and 2007). She aged out of juniors in 2008 and began skipping her own rink on the Ontario and World Curling Tour's. Throughout her women's career, she has won six Northern Ontario provincial championships (2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2018) and went on to win the Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts in 2012. The 2014 Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the provincial women's curling championship for Ontario, was held from January 6 to 12 at the Soo Curlers Association in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
