Cordelia Griffith
Cordelia Lauren Griffith (born 19 September 1995) is an English cricketer who currently plays for Middlesex, Sunrisers and Manchester Originals. She plays as a right-handed batter. She has previously played for Essex, as well as Surrey Stars and Yorkshire Diamonds in the Women's Cricket Super League. Early life Griffith was born on 19 September 1995 in Islington, Greater London. Her father, Frank, played county cricket for Derbyshire. Domestic career Griffith made her county debut in 2010, for Essex in a match against Warwickshire. She scored 5 as her team lost by 56 runs. She played two further games that season, but after this did not become a regular in Essex's side until 2013. Her first breakthrough season came in the 2016 Women's County Championship, scoring 177 runs at 35.40, including two half-centuries. The Warwickshire Women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic county of Warwickshire. They play their home games at Edgbaston Foundation Sports Ground, Birmingham, and are captained by Marie Kelly. In 2019, they won the Women's Twenty20 Cup. 2020 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy
The 2020 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy was the first edition of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, an English women's cricket domestic competition, which took place between 29 August and 27 September 2020. It featured eight teams in two groups, and had a final. The tournament was named after former England captain Rachael Heyhoe Flint, Baroness Heyhoe-Flint, who died in 2017. The competition was won by Southern Vipers, who beat Northern Diamonds in the final. Background and format The Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy was a 50-over cricket tournament created in 2020 so that English women's cricket could be played in spite of the COVID-19 pandemic. 2016 Women's Cricket Super League
The 2016 Women's Cricket Super League, or 2016 Kia Super League for sponsorship reasons, was the first season of the Women's Cricket Super League (WCSL), a semi-professional women's cricket competition in England and Wales. The competition, run by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), consisted of six franchise teams playing in a Twenty20 format. Each team featured three or four players contracted to the England women's cricket team and three overseas international players. Three teams qualified from the league stage of the competition; the Southern Vipers went directly into the final, while the Loughborough Lightning and Western Storm met in a semi-final. The Hampshire Women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic county of Hampshire. They play their home games at various grounds across the county, including Totton and Eling CC and the Ageas Bowl Nursery Ground. They are captained by Emily Windsor. Suffolk Women Cricket Team
The Suffolk Women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic county of Suffolk. They play their home games at various grounds across the county, including Wamil Way, Mildenhall and Woolpit CC, Woolpit. They are captained by Natalie Samuels. In 2019, they played in Division Three of the final season of the Women's County Championship, and have since competed in the Women's Twenty20 Cup.
