Christian Ruud
Christian Ruud (born 24 August 1972) is a Norwegian former tennis player who turned professional in 1991. He achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No. 39 in October 1995, reaching the fourth round of the 1997 Australian Open and the quarterfinals of the 1997 Monte Carlo Masters. He retired in 2001 after the 2001 French Open. He was the highest ranked Norwegian male player ever on the ATP Tour until his son Casper Ruud surpassed him in February 2020. Ruud was born in Oslo, and represented Norway at three consecutive Olympic Games, reaching the third round in Atlanta in 1996. Ruud won twelve titles on the Challenger Series but reached only one ATP Tour final, losing the 1995 Swedish Open in Båstad to Fernando Meligeni in straight sets. The ATP Tour is a worldwide top-tier tennis tour for men organized by the Association of Tennis Professionals. The second-tier tour is the ATP Challenger Tour and the third-tier is the ITF Men's World Tennis Tour. The equivalent women's organisation is the WTA Tour. Johan Van Herck
Johan Van Herck (born 24 May 1974) is a Belgian tennis coach and former professional player. Van Herck first broke into the top 100 of the ATP rankings in 1996, when he made semi-finals at the Copenhagen Open and Italy's Campionati Internazionali di Sicilia. In the later he upset top seed Félix Mantilla Botella in the second round. In both 1997 and 1998, Van Herck was a semi-finalist at the Coral Springs International Tennis Championships. He had his best Grand Slam performance at the 1998 French Open, where in the opening round he defeated world number four Greg Rusedski in straight sets. Younes El Aynaoui ( ar, يونس العيناوي) (born 12 September 1971) is a former professional tennis player from Morocco. He is a five-time singles winner on the ATP Tour and reached his career-high singles ranking of world No. 14 in March 2003, at the age of 31. Fernando Ariel Meligeni (born April 12, 1971), nicknamed ''Fininho'' (diminutive form in Portuguese for ''thin''), is a Brazilian former professional tennis player. He won 3 singles titles and reached the semi-finals of both the 1999 French Open and the 1996 Summer Olympics. He was well known because of his capacity of fighting at the court, taking matches to the limit (tiebreaks and five sets). His favorite surface was clay. Båstad () is a Urban areas in Sweden, locality and the seat of Båstad Municipality, Scania County, Sweden, with approximately 5,000 permanent residents.
