Christian Dintar
Christian Dintar (born 22 March 1974 in Graz) is an Austrian football referee. He refereed matches in the Austrian Football Bundesliga from 2010 until 2015. Career as a football referee After Dintar had played football in various lower league clubs, he suffered a serious motorcycle accident. His colleague, Paul Pethö, a referee in Burgenland, persuaded Dintar after his recovery, to take the exam for football referees. This he took in 1997. Because of good performance, Dintar rose quickly as referee in the Austrian Regional League. Already in the 2002/03 season, Dintar was assistant Bundesliga referee alongside Wolfgang Falb and Thomas Paukowits. On 28 March 2006, Dintar officiated a qualifying match, in the Austrian Football First League, between FC Kufstein and DSV Leoben (0:2). On 1 July 2006, he was awarded the Bundesliga status as referee. Fußballclub Kufstein is an association football club based in the town of Kufstein, Tyrol, Austria, that competes in Regionalliga Tirol, one of the third tiers of the Austrian football league system. Football is the most popular sport in Austria. The Austrian Football Association, the ''ÖFB'' (''Österreichischer Fußball-Bund''), was founded in 1904 and has been a member of FIFA since then. Despite the sport's popularity, except for a successful streak in the early 1930s, the country's national team has not been successful in tournaments. Austria played their first ever European championship as a qualifier in 2016, but finished last in their group and failed to advance. Their only prior appearance in the European championship was in 2008 (when it co-hosted the championship with Switzerland and was thus exempt from qualification), but was promptly eliminated already at the group stage. The Germany national under-21 football team represents the under-21s of Germany in the UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship and is controlled by the German Football Association (DFB), the governing body of football in Germany. Before the reunification of Germany, East Germany and West Germany played as separate entities — the two teams played separately until summer 1990. Following the realignment of UEFA's youth competitions in 1976, international under-21 football in Europe began. A West German team, however, did not compete in the U-21 European Championship until the qualifying round (beginning in 1980) of the 1982 competition. DSV Leoben is an Austrian association football club based in Leoben. It was founded in 1928. They play at the Donawitz Stadium. History WSV Donawitz The club was founded on 1 February 1928 opgericht as ''Werkssportverein Donawitz'', playing in green-white colours. They played their first season at the top Styrian league in 1930/31, playing against the likes of SK Sturm Graz, Grazer AK, Grazer SC and Kapfenberger SC.
