Carolina Brunström
Carolina Brunström (1 January 1803 - 25 January 1855) was a Swedish ballerina. She was considered as one of the leading members of the Royal Swedish Ballet in the 1810s and 1820s. She became a student of the Royal Swedish Ballet in 1812, and a premier dancer (ballerina) from 1820 to 1830. Brunström was described as a star member of the royal ballet during her career. Among her roles were Fanny in ''Den ädelmodige Fürsten'' by Giovanni Battista Ambrosiani, in the ballet to the opera ''Jessonda'' by Spohr, and as one of The Three Graces in the pantomime ballet ''Kärleken och gracerna'' ('Love and the Graces') alongside Gustafva Calsenius and Charlotta Alm, with Sophie Daguin as Venus, Charlotte Lindmark as Amor, Per Erik Wallqvist as Apollo and Charles Holm as the shepherd. Royal Swedish Ballet
The Royal Swedish Ballet is one of the oldest ballet companies in Europe. Based in Stockholm, Sweden, King Gustav III founded the ballet in 1773 as a part of his national cultural project in response to the French and Italian dominance in this field; he also founded the Royal Swedish Opera and the Royal Dramatic Theatre. All of these were initially located in the old theatre of Bollhuset. The troupe was founded with the opening of the Royal Swedish Opera, which has served as its home since that time. Giovanni Battista Ambrosiani
Giovanni Battista Ambrosiani (born 2 July 1772, Milan – 19 February 1832, Karlberg Palace) was an Italian ballet dancer. He arrived in Stockholm in 1795 and was taken on by the Royal Swedish Ballet as its premier danseur, then as its ballet master from 1823 to 1827. He was also dance master and gymnastics master at the Military Academy Karlberg until 1834. In Greek mythology, the Charites ( ), singular ''Charis'', or Graces, were three or more goddesses of charm, beauty, nature, human creativity, goodwill, and fertility. Hesiod names three – Aglaea ("Shining"), Euphrosyne ("Joy"), and Thalia ("Blooming")Hesiod, ''Theogony''907 ff – and names Aglaea as the youngest and the wife of Hephaestus. Sophie Daguin
Sophie Marguerite Daguin (26 March 1801 – 13 March 1881) was a French ballet dancer and choreographer. She spent her career in Sweden, where she became a star ballerina and ballet mistress of the Royal Swedish Ballet, and the principal of the ballet school. Life Sophie Daguin was born in Paris, France. After six years education under Didelot in her hometown Paris, she was employed in the Ballet of the Royal Swedish Opera in Stockholm, where she made a successful debut in ''La fille mal gardée'' by Jean Dauberval in 1815. She was a premier dancer in 1820–43, ballet master for the Royal Swedish Ballet in 1827–30, principal for the Ballet School in 1830–56 and pantomime dancer in 1843–56. Charlotte Lindmark
Charlotte Lindmark (18 October 1819 in Stockholm – 2 April 1858 in Stockholm) was a Swedish ballet dancer and stage actress. She was regarded a member of the Royal Swedish Ballet in 1834–39, and engaged as a stage actress at the Royal Dramatic Theatre (1842–45) and the ''Mindre teatern'' (1845–58) in Stockholm. She enjoyed great popularity and was one of the most famed actresses in Sweden in the mid 19th-century. Life Charlotte Lindmark was the daughter of a poor milliner. She made her stage debut in the Children's theater of Anders Selinder. She became a student of the Royal Swedish Ballet in 1829 and ballerina in 1834. Fabian Von Fersen (1762–1818)
Count Fabian Reinhold von Fersen (7 October 1762, Stockholm – 10 March 1818, Stockholm) was a Swedish count, politician, officer and courtier. He was the son of Axel von Fersen the Elder and Hedvig Catharina De la Gardie and the brother of Count Axel von Fersen the Younger, Hedvig Eleonora von Fersen and Sophie Piper. Life Fabian von Fersen served in the Royal Life Guards from 1771 and 1796 and climbed through the ranks from an ensign to a colonel lieutenant. In 1793–1802, he was a ''Valet de chambre'' and in 1802–10 a Chamberlain (office) at the royal court. He served as a member of the nobility in the ''riksdag'' several times between 1789 and 1818. In 1796, he belonged to the entourage accompanying Gustav IV Adolf on the king's marriage trip to Russia. Lieutenant General Nils Birger Valdemar Personne (29 June 1918 – 26 August 2013) was a Swedish Air Force officer. Personne's senior commands includes Vice Chief of the Air Staff (1961–1966), commander of the 4th Air Group (1966), chief of staff of the Upper Norrland Military District (1966–1972), and Commanding General, Upper Norrland Military District (1972–1976) and the Western Military District (1976–1980). Ljung Castle is a castle in Sweden. The present building was erected in 1774. It was commissioned by Axel von Fersen the Elder and designed by Jean Eric Rehn. Steninge Palace
Steninge Palace (also known as Steninge Manor) is a Baroque palace overlooking Lake Mälaren near Märsta outside of Stockholm, Sweden. Built 1694-1698 to the design of architect Nicodemus Tessin the Younger, the palace is directly inspired by Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte in France, and has a reputation in Sweden as one of the most elegant examples of Baroque mansions. Steninge Palace was completed in 1705. The estate has a history dating back to the 13th century and has seen many owners, but two families have strongly influenced the premises: those of Carl Gyllenstierna (1649–1735) and Axel von Fersen.
