CEB Llíria
Club Esportiu Bàsquet Llíria is a basketball club based in Llíria, Spain. It played in Liga ACB from 1991 to 1993. History CB Llíria, also known during the 1990s as Ferrys Llíria by sponsorship reasons, promoted to Liga ACB in 1991 and remained in the league two seasons before being relegated again. In 1994, the club tried to inscribe again in Liga ACB, but it was rejected by the Association. Llíria
Llíria (; es, Liria) is a medium-sized town off the CV35 motorway to the north of Valencia, Spain. Known as ''Edeta'' in ancient Iberian times, it is the musical capital of the region. On October 30, 2019, Llíria was declared a Creative City in the category of Music by the UNESCO. Location Llíria is the capital of the area known as ''Camp de Túria'' in the province of Valencia. It is approximately north-west of the city of Valencia. It sits at an altitude of 164m (530'). The population in 2006 totalled approximately 21,500. The traditional economy is based on agriculture, but industries such as textiles, construction materials, plastics, and furniture are becoming increasingly important. The city is at the end of the Metrovalencia train system. Construction of a new general hospital in Llíria began in 2007 and finished in 2015. The 2016–17 Liga EBA season was the 23rd edition of the Liga EBA. This is the fourth division of Spanish basketball. Four teams will be promoted to LEB Plata. The regular season started in September 2016 and will ended in March 2017. The Final Stage to LEB Plata was played in April 2017. The Primera División de Baloncesto is the fifth level in the Spanish basketball league system. Current format The Primera División works similar to the Tercera División of Spanish football. It is divided into fourteen groups, corresponding to the Autonomous communities of Spain excepting two of the groups: one that is shared by Basque Country, La Rioja and Navarra. The 1993 Copa del Rey was the 57th edition of the Spanish basketball Cup. It was organized by the ACB and was played in A Coruña in the Coliseum between March 4 and 7, 1993.
