2006–07 LEB 2 Season
The 2006–07 LEB 2 season was the 7th season of the LEB 2, second league of the Liga Española de Baloncesto and third division in Spain. It is also named Adecco Plata for sponsorship reasons. Competition format 18 teams play the regular season. This is a round robin, where each team will play twice against every rival. Club Esportiu Bàsquet Llíria is a basketball club based in Llíria, Spain. It played in Liga ACB from 1991 to 1993. History CB Llíria, also known during the 1990s as Ferrys Llíria by sponsorship reasons, promoted to Liga ACB in 1991 and remained in the league two seasons before being relegated again. Real Madrid Baloncesto B (English: Royal Madrid Basketball B) is the reserve team of Real Madrid. The team currently plays in the amateur level 4th tier level league of Spain, the Liga EBA. History The reserve team of Real Madrid was founded in 1955, as CB Fiesta Alegre, but it had played games since 1931. Fiesta Alegre was also known later as, Club Hesperia. With this name it played during three seasons, in the Liga Nacional, the top-tier level Spanish league, and in a final of the Copa del Rey (Spanish Cup). Hesperia was the only reserve team which could play in these games. Hesperia resigned from its place in the league in 1960. Club Baloncesto Peñas Huesca is a Spanish professional basketball team based in Huesca, Aragón. The team currently plays in league LEB Plata. History The team played in Liga ACB, where they stayed from 1983 to 1996. After winning the relegation play-off, the sold their spot in the league to Baloncesto Fuenlabrada and they joined the new second tier league, Liga LEB. CB Axarquía
Club Baloncesto Axarquía, more known by its sponsorship name of Clinicas Rincón Axarquía, was a basketball team based in Málaga, Andalusia. History Until the 2000s, Axarquía played in Regional leagues and in Liga EBA. In 2005 the team achieved a vacant berth in LEB 2 and started its collaboration as the farm team of Unicaja. Since 2011, the club started playing its games out of the ''comarca'' of Axarquía. CB Calpe
The Primera FEB, formerly known as LEB or LEB Oro, is the second basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system after the Liga ACB. It is run by the FEB. The FEB leagues are divided into three categories (the other two are the Segunda FEB and the Tercera FEB). The league was founded in 1996 and is played under FIBA rules. The league is contested by 18 clubs. Each season, the top-finishing team in the Primera FEB are automatically promoted to the Liga ACB. The teams that finish the season in 2nd to 9th place enter a playoff tournament, with the winner also gaining promotion to the Liga ACB. The three lowest-finishing teams in the Primera FEB are relegated to Segunda FEB. Club Baloncesto Ambroz Plasencia, more commonly referred to today by its sponsorship name of Plasencia Extremadura, is a Basketball team based in Plasencia, Extremadura. Club Bàsquet Prat is a basketball team based in El Prat de Llobregat, Catalonia (Spain). The team currently plays in league LEB Plata. History Basketball arrived to El Prat de Llobregat in 1932 with the constitution of the ''Esplai Grupo 49'' in the Federation of Young Christians of Catalonia.
