Beibei
Beibei District () is a district in the Chongqing municipality, People's Republic of China. A satellite town in the north of central Chongqing, Beibei got its name because of the huge rock that extends to the middle of Jialing River, and is known for its historical culture in the period of the Republic of China. It covers around and has a population of about 650,000 (2004). Location and geography Beibei is located at the outer side of the Chongqing Metropolitan Area. It shares borders with Shapingba (south), Bishan (west), Hechuan (north), and Yubei (east), on the west bank of Jialing River. Beibei Museum
The Chongqing Natural History Museum () is a natural history museum in Chongqing, China. The museum founded in 1944, originally as the Western Museum of China. It changed its name in 1981. The museum has a collection of about 70,000 specimens covering animals, minerals, paleontology, plants, and Stone Age period wares. It includes several dinosaur skeletons from the Sichuan Province. especially since the 1970s from around Zigong. The exhibits include the skeletons of the Omeisaurus Zigongensis dinosaur and the Tuojiang stegosaur. The museum also publishes books on dinosaurs. The original museum building was in the Beibei District. A new museum building in the Yuzhong District was under construction as of 2013, consisting of six exhibition halls and covering an area of 14.4 hectares. Shapingba () is a district of Chongqing, People's Republic of China, formerly known as Shaci District () during the Sino-Japanese War. It is one of the central parts of Chongqing and covers around 396 square kilometers, with 13 subdistricts and 11 towns. () is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Jinhua in Central Zhejiang Province, China. It covers an area of and administers eleven towns, one township, and six subdistricts. It is part of the Yangtze River Delta Economic Region. Hanyu Pinyin
Hanyu Pinyin (), often shortened to just pinyin, is the official romanization system for Standard Mandarin Chinese in China, and to some extent, in Singapore and Malaysia.
