Basketligaen
The Basketligaen ( en, The Basketball League) is the highest professional basketball league in Denmark. The original men's first division was founded in 1957 and the current league was founded in 1998. All-time record holder in league titles is Bakken Bears, which has captured 18 titles in its history. BMS is the only team with 5 titles in a row, starting in 1986 through 1990. The main TV partner of the league is Sport Live. The league consists of 10 teams, with no relegation rules. Bakken Bears
Bakken Bears is a Denmark, Danish professional basketball club based in Aarhus. The club plays in the Basketligaen, the top tier basketball league in Denmark. Founded in 1953, the club has won the Basketligaen 20 times and holds the record for the most championships and has won 11 Danish Men's Basketball Cup, Danish Cups. Along with their domestic play, the club is a regular in European professional club basketball system, European competitions. The Bears are a three-time semifinalist of the FIBA Europe Cup. Team FOG Næstved is a professional basketball team from Næstved, Denmark, playing in the best Danish basketball league, Basketligaen. The team won its first title in 2017, where they won the Danish Basketball Cup. Their current head coach is Andy Hipsher. The team is named after the former supermarket chain FOG. Basketballklubben BMS, referred to as BMS, is a professional basketball club based in Ballerup–MÃ¥løv–Skovlunde, Denmark. BMS plays its home games at Rosenlundskolen in Skovlunde, in Ballerup Super Arena or in Højager Hall in Ballerup. BMS has on several occasions worked with neighboring club Herlev Basketball Club.
