Branko Filip (born 18 March 1975) is a former Slovenian cyclist he is current coach of the men's cycling team Torku Şekerspor of Turkey. Novo Mesto
Novo Mesto (; sl, Novo mesto; also known by other alternative names) is a city on a bend of the Krka River in the City Municipality of Novo Mesto in southeastern Slovenia, close to the border with Croatia. The town is traditionally considered the economic and cultural centre of the historical Lower Carniola region. Name Novo Mesto was attested in historical sources in 1365 as ''Růdolfswerde'' (and as ''Rudolfswerd'' in 1392 and ''Noua Mesta'' in 1419). The German name (spelled ''Rudolfswerth'' in the modern era) is a compound of the personal name ''Rudolf'' and ''wert'' 'island, peninsula, land above the water', and refers to Rudolf IV, Duke of Austria, who conferred town rights upon the settlement in 1365. Gerolsteiner (cycling Team)
Gerolsteiner () was a German road bicycle racing team in the UCI ProTour. It was sponsored by the mineral water company Gerolsteiner Brunnen and Specialized. History The team was founded in 1997 as Schauff Oeschelbronn professional cycling team by team manager Hans-Michael Holczer and sports directors Rolf Gölz and Christian Henn. In 1999 Gerolsteiner who had previously sponsored the Cologne Cycling Team in 1998 became the title sponsors. The contract with Georg Totschnig in 2001 helped make the team enter Division I. In 2003 the team participated in the Tour de France for the first time. The leader for several seasons was Georg Totschnig, who recorded top 10 finishes in the Tour de France and was an excellent climber. Torku Şekerspor () was a Turkish professional cycling team, based in Konya, Central Anatolia.They folded after the 2018 season. The team was sponsored by the local sugar and chocolate industries. It is part of the Konya Anadolu Selçukspor organisation, a Turkish TFF Second League football team. In 2011, the team became Turkey's first ever professional bicycle racing team. Slovenian National Time Trial Championships
The Slovenian National Time Trial Championships have been held since 1991. Kristijan Koren (U23 category) set absolute best time in 2006 and 2007 Championships and beat all top riders (Elite), and the same thing with U23 repeated at both National Time Trials and Road Race in 2009. After that, Slovenian Cycling Federation (KZS) decided to change rules and make it more understable to public. Unlike before, when the U23 results counted only in their own category, from 2010 onwards, the potential U23 winner by time becomes the Elite - absolute champion (the same goes for 2nd, 3rd...).
