Blog 27 was a Polish Musical ensemble, musical group founded in 2005 by two teenage vocalists Tola Szlagowska and Ala Boratyn performing pop music with elements of pop punk and pop rock. The duo's debut album, ''LOL (Blog 27 album), LOL'' (2005), was certified Music recording certification, double platinum in Poland and also achieved moderate success in Western Europe and Japan. It included three internationally charting singles: "Uh La La La#Blog 27 version, Uh La La La", "Hey Boy (Get Your Ass Up)" and "Wid Out Ya". After Ala's departure in 2006, the act released one more album, ''Before I'll Die...'' (2008), but shortly after that Tola relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a degree in music, and the band has since been inactive. Blog 27 has sold over 250,000 records worldwide and is regarded as the forerunner of the emo fashion in Poland. Before I'll Die
''Before I'll Die...'' is the second and final studio album by Polish band Blog 27, released in 2008 by Magic Records, a subsidiary of Universal Music. Album information All songs on the album were written and co-produced by the singer and co-founder of the band, Tola Szlagowska. Following Ala Boratyn's departure from the band in 2006, Tola was now the only lead singer on the album. The material was recorded in various studios in Warsaw, but mixed in Hollywood, California. Tola had the album's title tattooed on her wrist shortly before its release, even though it contains a grammatical error (it should have been ''Before I Die''). The incorrect title was heavily criticised on celebrity gossip websites, and eventually an ironic warning in Polish was added on the album's cover, which read: "Parental Advisory. Who I Am (Blog 27 Song)
"Who I Am?" is a song performed by Poland, Polish band Blog 27 from their 2005 debut album ''LOL (Blog 27 album), LOL''. It was released as the final single from the album in late 2006, and the first single after the departure of one of the lead singers, Ala Boratyn. Overview The song is a piano ballad which tells about following one's dreams despite adversities and other people's opinions. Tola Szlagowska, Tola has re-recorded the first verse of the song, originally performed by Ala Boratyn, Ala, and released the new solo version as a single at the end of 2006, weeks after Ala's departure from the band. It was Blog 27's fourth international single, and the fifth overall single, following "I Still Don't Know Ya" which was exclusive to Poland. ''Higher'' is a studio album by Polish singer Ala Boratyn, released in 2007 under the mononym Ala. Overview It was Ala's debut solo release after the departure from Blog 27 in October 2006, and remains her only full-length solo album to date. The material consists of pop rock material with elements of electronica, ska and reggae. Ala co-wrote most songs herself and collaborated with musicians from Polish rock bands T.Love and Hey. The original title of "I Never Know" was "You Don't Know", "Darling" was earlier known as "Big Chance", and "Strange New Feeling" is a re-worked version of "Ska". "Angel" was chosen as the first single at the end of 2007, followed by "Don't Believe Them" and "The Shadow Lands" in 2008. Teddybears (formerly Teddybears STHLM) are a Swedish alternative rock band formed in 1991, known for mixing pop, rock, hip hop, electronica, reggae, punk, and many other genres. History Teddybears began as a grindcore group called Skull. As for the name Teddybears, Joakim Åhlund says, "If you're familiar with the Swedish or Norwegian black metal scene, you know back then every band was called things like 'Corpse Grinder From Hell'. So we called ourselves the Teddybears as an 'anti' thing. We were the hardest rocking andin Sweden and we're calling ourselves the Teddybears."
