Big Brother 2011 (Sweden)
Big Brother 2011 was the fifth season of the Swedish version of the reality show '' Big Brother''. It was premièred on 20 February 2011, when 17 housemates were locked inside a house located in Ã…rsta Partihallar outside Stockholm TV11 broadcasts program six nights a week. Highlights shows are broadcast from Monday to Friday 22:00-23:00. Weekly Finals are broadcast on Sunday 21:00-22:25. For a fee, the viewer could also follow the participants live on the Internet. Overall, participants were locked up for 106 days (15 weeks). On 26 January 2011, it was announced that Gry Forssell would be the host of the show. The winner of the fifth Swedish Big Brother series receives a grand prize of 500,000 SEK. Format Housemates are incarcerated in the Big Brother House with no contact to and from the outside world. TV11 (Sweden)
Kanal 11 (formerly TV11 and before that TV400) is a conditional access, entertainment channel owned by Warner Bros. Discovery EMEA. Its target audience is younger people and it almost solely broadcasts entertainment programmes. The channel was launched in January 2005 to replace the interactive Mediteve channel that occupied the same space. Programming on the channel consists of action and drama series, reality series, movies and comedy. Kanal 11 also features some original programming and programmes connected to shows on TV4, such as Idol. The channel is broadcast by satellite, cable, IPTV and on the digital terrestrial network. On 19 January 2011, the channel was relaunched and renamed ''TV11''. Among the new programmes made for TV11 are another season of '' Big Brother''. Haninge Municipality (''Haninge kommun'') is a municipality in Stockholm County in east central Sweden. Its seat is located in Handen, a part of the Stockholm urban area. Haninge Municipality was formed in 1971 when ''Västerhaninge'' and ''Österhaninge'' were united. Hörby () (old da, Hørby) is a locality and the seat of Hörby Municipality, SkÃ¥ne County, Sweden with 15 631 inhabitants in 2019. 6 km (3.7 mi) south-east of the center of Hörby is at least since 1959 the location of a radio and TV transmitter. Short wave antennas have been dismantled there in 2011. Climate Hörby has a transitional maritime- continental climate with moderate seasonal swings by Nordic inland standards.
