Bhagwan Das Gupta
Bhagwan Das Gupta ( ne, भगवान दास गुप्ता; 1 January 1940 – 15 November 1998) was a Nepalese politician and two time Member of Parliament from Kapilvastu. His son Brijesh Kumar Gupta is also a Member of Parliament from Kapilvastu and also served as Minister of Law and Justice. He born in Agrahari Vaishya family in Kapilvastu, Nepal. His father name was Late Pashupati Sahu. Former mayor of Kapilvastu Ram Das Gupta is his brother. Taulihawa, Nepal
Kapilvastu (also known by name of Taulihawa) is a municipality and administrative center of Kapilvastu District in Lumbini Province of southern Nepal. The municipality is located roughly to the south-west of Lumbini, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the birthplace of Gautama Buddha. Kapilvastu Municipality was established in 1982 with the name of Taulihawa Nagarpanchayat merging Baragdawa, Maalpara, Pipari, Kapilvastu Adarsh Gaau and some portion of Tilaurakot, Gotihawa and Gobari Gaunpanchayat. Later on 7 November 2014 remaining region of Gotihawa and Tilaurakot VDC were included making total 19 wards within this Municipality. Lumbini
Lumbinī ( ne, लुम्बिनी, IPA=ˈlumbini , "the lovely") is a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the Rupandehi District of Lumbini Province in Nepal. It is the place where, according to Buddhist tradition, Queen Mahamayadevi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama at around 566 BCE. Gautama, who, according to Buddhist tradition, achieved Enlightenment some time around 528 BCE, became Gautama Buddha and founded Buddhism. Agrahari
Agrahari, Agraharee or Agarhari is an Indian and Nepali Vaishya community, They are the descendants of legendary king Agrasena. Predominantly, they are found in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Terai region of Nepal. History In 1916, Robert Vane Russell, an ethnologist of the British Raj period wrote, Agrahari,found chiefly Jubbulpore district and Raigarh State. Their name connected with the cities with Agra and Agroha. William Crooke states that Agrahari claim partly a Brahmin and partly a Brāhmanical descent, and wear the sacred thread. Vaishya
Vaishya (Sanskrit: वैश्य, ''vaiśya'') is one of the four Varna (Hinduism), varnas of the Hinduism, Hindu social order in India. Vaishyas are classed third in the order of caste hierarchy. The occupation of Vaishyas consists mainly of agriculture, taking care of cattle, trade and other business pursuits.
