Paschimbanga Bangla Akademi ( bn, পশ্চিমবঙ্গ বাংলা একাডেমি) is the official regulatory body of the Bengali language in West Bengal, India. The Barak Valley is located in the southern region of the Indian state of Assam. The region is named after the Barak river.
