Benedicte Adrian
Benedicte Christine Adrian Mouton (born 22 October 1963) is a Norwegian singer and artist. She has released material on her own, but is best known for her collaboration with Ingrid Bjørnov in the pop duo Dollie de Luxe (1980–1994). She has also distinguished herself as a solo artist for several years, with the role as "Queen of the Night" in Mozart's ''The Magic Flute'' at the Norwegian Opera. She has since sung with Bergen Oratoriekor and Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, in addition to having participated in works like ''Dido and Aeneas'', ''Peer Gynt'' and ''Olav Engelbrektsson''. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. Sølvguttene ("The Silver Boys") is a boys' choir founded by Torstein Grythe in June, 1940. The choir had its first rehearsals in Grythes apartment in Oslo, but were soon offered to rehearse in Norwegian Broadcasting’s (NRK) facilities. The thought was that the choir would be permanently linked to NRK, and the first radio performance was held in December 1940. Conditions during the German occupation soon made it impossible to continue the cooperation with NRK, and the choir was for the remainder of the war years managed by the founder/conductor. ''Idol: Jakten på en superstjerne 2007'' was the fifth season of Idol Norway based on the British singing competition ''Pop Idol''. In difference to other seasons it was aired in the second half of the year running from September to December 2007. After a two-year absence Jan Fredrik Karlsen returned to the judging panel as the foreperson. He was joined by Asbjørn Slettemark, Benedicte Adrian and Mariann Thomassen. Also the two hosts were new to the show in person of Marte Stokstad and Kyrre Holm Johannessen. The Age limit to audition was raised from 28 to 35. Eventual winner Glenn Lyse profited from that rule as he was 33 at the time of his win which also made him the oldest winner of the Idol series worldwide. Akershus
Akershus () is a traditional region and current electoral district in Norway, with Oslo as its main city and traditional capital. It is named after the Akershus Fortress in Oslo. Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra
The Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra is a Norwegian orchestra based in Bergen. Its principal concert venue is the Grieg Hall. History Established in 1765 under the name ''Det Musicalske Selskab'' (The Musical Society), it later changed its name to ''Musikselskabet Harmonien''. Bergen citizens often refer to the ensemble as "Harmonien" (the Harmony). After World War I, there was strong interest in the major Norwegian cities of Bergen and Kristiania (later Oslo) in having larger orchestras.
