B3 Racing is a Hungarian auto racing team based in Mogyoród, Hungary. The team has raced in the TCR International Series, since 2016. Having previously raced in the SEAT León Eurocup in 2014 & 2015 and the European Touring Car Cup in 2015. European Touring Car Cup After having raced in the SEAT León Eurocup in 2014, the team entered the 2015 European Touring Car Cup with Dušan Borković driving an SEAT León Cup Racer in the Single-makes Trophy. Mogyoród
Mogyoród is a small traditional village in Pest County, Hungary. The Battle of Mogyoród took place here on 14 March 1074, between Solomon, King of Hungary and his cousins Géza and Ladislaus, who were claiming rights to the throne. To commemorate the victory, László Benchmarks were installed, establishing a monastery on Klastrom mountain. Among the sights of the village is the Roman Catholic church, built between 1745 and 1749, the statue of St John of Nepomuk, carved from stone, and the Baroque parish built by the Bishop of Vác. The Hungaroring race track is located in the town, home to the Hungarian Grand Prix. The 2016 TCR International Series was the second season of the TCR International Series. Stefano Comini successfully defended his title, beating his nearest challenger James Nash by 2.5 points. Craft-Bamboo Racing were crowned teams' champions beating Leopard Racing with 73 points margin, while Seat Léon TCR won the models' championship. Teams and drivers Michelin is the official tyre supplier, but Neric Wei, Tang Chi Lun and Edgar Lau used Yokohama tyres at Macau. Calendar The 2016 schedule was announced on 2 December 2015, with twelve events scheduled. Three out of these twelve rounds are to be held supporting Formula One. The calendar was subsequently modified: the Shanghai round was canceled and replaced by Buriram (originally scheduled to be held on 30 October). On 5 May the Italian round was moved to Imola. 2015 SEAT León Eurocup
The 2015 SEAT León Eurocup was the fifth season of the SEAT León Eurocup. The season was contested over seven race meetings – with two races at each meeting – starting on 25 April at the Paul Ricard Circuit and concluding on 1 November at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Reigning champion Pol Rosell defended his championship title for the Baporo Motorsport team. Rosell won four races and recorded eight podium finishes as he finished eleven points clear of his closest rival, Stian Paulsen. Paulsen went into the final race with a shot of winning the title, but his failure to score points sealed the title for Rosell. 2014 SEAT León Eurocup
The 2014 SEAT León Eurocup was the fourth season of the SEAT León Eurocup, and the first since 2010. The season was contested over six race meetings – with two races at each meeting – starting on 3 May at the Nürburgring and concluding on 2 November at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Baporo Motorsport drivers were able to take the top two places in the drivers' championship, with Pol Rosell taking the championship after a second-place finish in the first race at the final round of the season. Rosell achieved six podium finishes during the season, with only one win at the Salzburgring, but only missed the points on two occasions. TCR International Series
The TCR International Series was an international touring car championship. The championship was promoted by World Sporting Consulting (WSC), founded by former World Touring Car Championship manager Marcello Lotti. It was marketed as a cost-effective spin-off of the WTCC, targeted at C-segment hatchbacks production-based touring cars. 2015 European Touring Car Cup
The 2015 FIA European Touring Car Cup is the eleventh running of the FIA European Touring Car Cup. It will consist of six events in Hungary, Slovakia, France, Czech Republic, Belgium and Italy. The championship will be split into three categories: Super 2000 for TC2 Turbo and TC2 machinery, Super 1600, and the Single-Make Trophy for cars such as the SEAT León Supercopa. Nikolay Karamyshev, Petr Fulín, Gilles Bruckner and Dmitry Bragin will be the defending champions in TC2 Turbo, TC2, Super 1600 and Single-makes Trophy respectively.
