2015 European Touring Car Cup
The 2015 FIA European Touring Car Cup is the eleventh running of the FIA European Touring Car Cup. It will consist of six events in Hungary, Slovakia, France, Czech Republic, Belgium and Italy. The championship will be split into three categories: Super 2000 for TC2 Turbo and TC2 machinery, Super 1600, and the Single-Make Trophy for cars such as the SEAT León Supercopa. Nikolay Karamyshev, Petr Fulín, Gilles Bruckner and Dmitry Bragin will be the defending champions in TC2 Turbo, TC2, Super 1600 and Single-makes Trophy respectively. From these four only Bruckner will be able to defend his title as Fulín moved to the Single-makes Trophy, while Karamyshev and Bragin left the series. Michal Matějovský
Michal Matějovský (born 20 October 1985 in Hradec Králové) is a Czech auto racing driver. Career Early racing included the Czech Škoda Matador Pick-up Championship, the Czech Škoda Octavia Cup, and the Czech BMW 1 Challenge. In 2008 he competed in the SEAT León Eurocup, finishing the season sixteenth on points. As a reward for his performance in the Eurocup, he entered one round of the FIA World Touring Car Championship at Brno in 2008. He drove a SEAT León for the SUNRED Racing Development Team, with a best placed finish of twenty-second in race one. Automotodróm Slovakia Ring
Automotodróm Slovakia Ring is a motor racing circuit in Orechová Potôň, Dunajská Streda District in Slovakia, approximately away from Bratislava Airport. It was built between 2008 and 2009. Description New Zealand race car driver Matt Halliday suggested that the rear engine Porsches struggled with Slovakia Ring's long radius corners with much less front aerodynamics than the other cars. A major feature of the circuit is a prominent hump on one of the straights that causes some cars to fly with the front wheels off the ground. Only one car has flipped over entirely and crashed after going over the hump at a high speed. Prior to start of the 2014 season the hump between turns 2 and 3 was rebuilt. Hungaroring
The Hungaroring is a motorsport racetrack in Mogyoród, Pest County, Hungary where the Formula One Hungarian Grand Prix is held. In 1986, it became the location of the first Formula One Grand Prix behind the Iron Curtain. Bernie Ecclestone wanted a race in the USSR, but a Hungarian friend recommended Budapest. They wanted a street circuit similar to the Circuit de Monaco to be built in the Népliget – Budapest's largest park – but the government decided to build a new circuit just outside the city near a major highway. Construction works started on 1 October 1985. It was built in eight months, less time than any other Formula One circuit.
